One of my absolute fave local coffee shops! Perfect for meeting up with friends or simply coming to get a little work done.
Every single coffee, tea or cold brew I've had here has hit the spot! My gave right now is the iced matcha moon.
They also carry food from local places that are more nutrient dense & genuinely healthy options if you need food on the go or while you work.
If you haven't tried this coffee shop, be sure to come in person so you can get the whole experience of sitting inside. But they do have mobile pick up options.

Matcha Moon
I recently visited Summer Moon Coffee in Friendswood for the first time, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
I purchased one latte and three pastries (two almond croissants and one blueberry muffin).
During the transaction, I was preoccupied with a phone call from my child, which meant I wasn't fully attentive to the pricing. Consequently, I ended up tipping 15% without considering the costs. Upon hanging up, I realized that the bakery items were already presented to me, heated up, and ready to go.
When I looked at my receipt it was $36.41. I asked the young lady at the counter if this was a joke. She said no sir we don't put the prices. I said you guys don't put any sign anywhere for pastries and I don't see any airplane outside!
I let them know, that would be beneficial for the store owner to clearly label items for sale, either in-store or on the website. The quality of the croissants and muffins was disappointing, as they appeared to be stale. After just one bite, we had no choice but to discard them.
Stay vigilant in every transaction. Ready to be ripped off at any time.
Avoid placing calls and orders simultaneously!

Love this place. My fiance and I go here on a regular base (her more so than I, she goes at least once a week lol) and we love the coffee and more so the atmosphere. The place is just relaxing and nowhere near as loud as a Starbucks. The place also just feels more like a local place than most chains even though it is a franchise. It is one of the few franchises that know how to tap into the local community and support other small businesses (all their pastries and meals/snacks are supplied by other local small businesses). Their merchandise is also on another level.

Great vibe! Great customer service! As a first timer the cashier was friendly and helped me with the menu! I ordered the quarter moon latte and a peppermint chocolate macchiato.

The black tea iced it refreshing, the coffee smelled amazing and the crowd there tells me it must be 5 STAR! They even have a water bowl for the pup!

I love Summer Moon, and was so excited to finally visit the location in Friendswood. The shop is very spacious, has lots of seating, and is very inviting. I ordered a 1/2 Summer Moon latte, and it was amazing! I will definitely be back in the future, and recommend Summer Moon to anyone looking for a good latte.

With Moon Milk
I've had a friend and my chiropractor recommend Summer Moon, and now I know why! The coffee drinks are incredible. I didn't try any of the food, but I will next time. It has such a great atmosphere. The staff members are super friendly and were so helpful when we couldn't decide what drink I wanted. I'll definitely be back!!!

Oak Roasted Drip
Honestly, no other coffee shop compares. The creaminess of the Moon Milk is THE BEST. I will drive out of my way for Summer Moon. It was such a treat when I would visit my friends in Austin, and now they’re popping up all over the city here. They also have great options for my kiddos

I stopped by Summer Moon to pick up coffee beans. The young ladies at the counter (and Darcy who answered the phone when I called) were very helpful in helping me pick out beans, explaining what moon milk is and giving me a small sample. I grabbed a bag of Velvet Blaze and a half moon iced latte.
The shop is very cute. They have 2 egg swing chairs inside, couches and lots of tables. The restrooms were very clean. There are small benches and tables outside with umbrellas for patio hanging out.
The Velvet Blaze beans are amazing. They produce a great crema and are strong and bold. SM had other beans, I'll slowly work my way through their flavors. The latte and moon milk is delicious. I had a chance to taste the blue moon iced latte, and it's also delicious, as was their unsweetened hibiscus iced tea.
I'm happy to have found another coffee shop close to me with great beans and drinks.
