This was a random stop we made, but the sign was correct. My wife said the shrimp & grits (she got the BBQ special with bacon) were the best she ever had. I would also recommend the potato bowl special which had shrimp, chorizo, peppers, onions and a cream sauce over breakfast potatoes--the sauce made the meal. Also liked that the tails were already removed from the shrimp. Only downside was the coffee was a bit weak for my liking. Service was as expected with kind, Southern hospitality. Bring cash as they charge for cards on top of the overpriced food... When placing a pick up order, double check everything before leaving the restaurant. My first time there today and I had to go back into the restaurant twice to get what was missing. My side of grits was not in the bag the first time, then when I went to bite into my $20 bagel sandwich, the eggs I asked for were not on it. Not a great first impression. The food was decent in flavor but a little over priced. $8 for just one piece of French toast cut in half. They call it (2) pieces on their menu. By the time I got to eat the French toast it was cold and soggy since I had to go back in for the missing items which took time. Dine-in area was comfy and clean and I wish I had tried that as my first experience there. Not sure I will go back since for a bagel sandwich, a piece of French toast , a little little side of grits and a cup of sweet tea plus a tip was almost $35. Could have fed a whole family breakfast on that at home tbh. Sweet treats available in a cooler up at the front. The food choices are phenomenal. The BBQ shrimp was the special for the day. It was flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked just right. I also got the parfait. It was loaded with blue berries, strawberries, blackberries, granola, and a fruit sauce all served in an extra sized mug. My husband had the chicken fried steak plate. The BEST BURGER ANYWHERE!!! AND OMELETTES!!! AMAZING ISN'T EVEN ENOUGH. And Tino is the best waiter ever!!! If you haven't eaten here you're definitely missing out!!! 1000000 stars! Ten of us showed up on a Sunday morning with no reservation. The owner got us seated promptly. Coffee bar is such a great idea. There is nothing worse than waiting around hoping your server notices you need more coffee. The coffee was delicious. The service was very good although a couple of people waited too long for food. I had the turkey sausage omelet and it was wonderful. Kudos to the owner for running such a smooth operation. The food was D-Liscious! The waffles were air fluffy! Our compliments to the chef!😘 Valentino was our host and he was AMAZING, KIND and HELPFUL! And let me tell you, the choices of coffee flavor were plenty and so good!! Try the Sunrise blend. You won't regret it! It was a very busy place. Service was on point as our waiter went above and beyond for us. The kitchen unfortunately was not as good. My food was wrong the first time and then fixed. Then my son's burger was not cooked all the way through which is not ok by any means as they told me it's 80/20 that is used. Sent it back and they fixed the burger but then his side order was not what was originally ordered.... over all we would still come back again for another try. The kitchen definitely needs to match the front staff as they were 100% on point. The food was very good though once we got it fixed. We dined at Sunrise Bistro on Saturday and the food was absolutely amazing. Now service, that was a different story. Our server wasn't friendly nor great. I wish I knew her name to warn future customers but she never told us. Either way, the food was so good we came back today (Sunday) and just our luck, we got sat in her section again. When she came to the table, there was no "hello, my name is _____" or anything. We got "y'all ready?" She literally took our order and checked on us once after our food came (brought by someone else). It's like she was nowhere to be found. Thankfully Valentino saw us looking and so graciously helped us. He brought our to-go drinks and check. All our server did was come grab it to run the bill. Her service on today was even worse than it was yesterday. All in all, I will be returning but if they sit me in her section again, I'll request to be moved.
