We came here for an early dinner. Service was polite, and the food arrived extremely quickly. The eye fillet and duck were perfectly cooked, and the dishes were very delicious. Would highly recommend the banoffee pie cocktail if you've got a sweet tooth. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ponder brothers from Table Restaurant at Nice Boutique Hotel - celebrity team that Taranaki should be proud to have. Their cooking is refined, precise and inventive. Using techniques from the most popular international chefs, they deliver unforgettable experience, where food is an object of lust, status and imagination. Ceviche with citrus pearls resembled black caviar was a very elegant taster. Lasagna with kawakawa leaves demonstrated what real fusion kiwi cuisine is. Lamb ragout melted in the mouth like a dew drop on sunny morning. The owner Terry Parkes came for a chat and it was nice.

A very good experience. The service was warm and friendly, if missing some of the detail I'd expect for a restaurant of this standing - in fairness, it was a busy night with a large group present. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $90–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Nice fine dining in a boutique hotel. Cozy atmosphere and so peaceful, even though in middle of town. Parking should not be an issue. Very prepared meals. Although Auckland prices. Well stocked bar. The 3 dessert options were not my types. All in all, a good place to celebrate an occasion. Service Dine in

Hubby booked this as a birthday surprise. We stayed in the St Mary's room which was a delight, very comfy bed, beautiful room and loved it. We also dined in the restaurant. The starters were delicious, we had the prawns and cauliflower. Mains was steak for the hubby which he enjoyed but sadly my crispy pork belly was sadly lacking...was gelatinous not crispy hardly any meat on it all rubbery fat.....and the orange smear of kumara all round the bowl didn't do it any favors. Couldn't fault the service, which was exceptional Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Booked a table January 26 for extended family of 8 to celebrate a long postponed retirement. Highly professional service from our young waiter Zac. Full knowledge of menu and drinks, totally unfazed by questions and differing orders. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was first class, cooked to perfection and very well presented. Thank you kitchen team! Thoroughly enjoyable night (I think we were last to leave)
