Visited a late Friday night, for some food and drinks. This is a great place, tasty texmex food and reasonably priced beer & wine. Had hard tacos with ground beef, very good. Also tried a soft taco with pulled beef BBQ, very tasty. Sides of sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and nacho chips, excellent. The interior is very cool, nice decor and atmosphere. Open until 01 AM, which is much longer than other restaurants in Karlstad. The owner is extremely service minded, great service, fast serving also. Had a great time with texmex food, cold beer and wine. They also have seating outdoors but we stayed inside; it was around 10 C and raining outside.. Will be back!

Said was the name of the waiter that deserves the world. He provided us with great food, great drinks and great service even though he was alone and had his hands full. He deserves a raise and a big thanks for his welcoming demeanour. Taco bar should be thankful to have such a good worker. Thank you Said for your great service. Ordered food for me and my friend through the app. His dish arrived in a timely manner but mine didn't turn up. The waiter insisted, while delivering my friends meal, that the food was on its way. After waiting an hour with still no food my friend asked about it while up at the bar ordering a beer... they answered that they had missed the order because it had disappeared from their screen but would deliver shortly. When the order finally arrived I questioned the portion size since I had ordered the larger portion. The bar staff apologized and offered to come out with an additional serving - which I thought was nice of them.. this additional small serving was still cold but after waiting more than an hour for my food I just couldn't be bothered to make any more complaints. Afterwards, while ordering some cava, one of the staff asked if I was satisfied but I was in such a bad mood that I could only interpret the question and tone as passive aggressive (i will admit that my mood may have contributed to this interpretation). Nice decor. Bland food served in the most smallest portion for a taco compared to price. It’s almost funny. No creative flavours, just standard using basic ingredients with no texture. One would expect corn tortillas and fresher flavours. Another poor food place added to karlstad. Won’t go again.
