This place is small, hidden, but has some of the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time! I’ve tried the bbq tacos, the chicken tacos, and the steak. The guacamole is also some of the best I’ve ever had. It was so flavorful and the portions are very generous. We were early for an appointment at the Reston Kaiser Permanente and decided to get lunch to help kill time. This restaurant showed up when I googled restaurants near me. We were not disappointed! Omg, the different flavors were having a party in my mouth! My husband had a burrito with barbacoa and I had a bowl with barbacoa. We also ordered a side of chips and salsa which were equally delicious. I really like the freshness, consistency and amazing taste of the salsa. The chips are thicker than I like but delicious nonetheless. I really wish this was closer to my home as I live 40 miles away. Highly recommend! P.s., don’t forget to try the sauces. Great local taco spot. As a realtor I spend a lot of time in my car and often need to find lunch on the go. I first stumbled upon Taco Zocalo near one of my Reston listings. The beef barbocoa taco is probably my favorite. I find that 2 tacos is quite filling and affordable! Today around lunch the place was packed inside and outside so I got my tacos to-go. They were expertly packed and came with sauce and a lime wedge. I also bought some of their hot sauces to put in my client gift baskets.
