Love the Pork Tamales and Carnitas Tacos. Our family eats here often. So good! I don’t see tamales listed on their site, but they do have them. So you may have to just order those on site. Service Take out Price per person $1–10 Recommended dishes Two Tacos Rice & Beans

I was pleased to check this Mexican joint off my list. There is plenty of parking so no need to be on the lookout for a spot. I came here strictly for the tortas and ordered the Torta Cubana. This was my first time ever trying a torta, and I figured it was going to be good after reading the reviews. It was a busy sandwich with breaded steak, beans, hot dogs, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. With everything going on, you could still pick out each ingredient which I liked. The steak was just a little bit chewy and could've used more seasoning but otherwise I enjoyed it. The green sauce they served with the sandwich was what took it to the next level. I was looking for some more flavor and this did it for me. Although, if you ordered this sandwich with a slow cooked meat, it would probably be out of this world. Definitely a good spot to try out if you are in the area. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Fresh food!!! Tasty fresh Mexican food. Place is sunny and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. I had the taco plate and some chips and guacamole. Chips were great. Light and NOT overly salty. I will definitely ask for hot sauce next time. My only complaint is the napkin dispenser. We had a fight and the dispenser won. Great place to get away from lobby fast food. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most authentic Mexican place. The tacos were fresh. The salsa was full of flavor and chips were homemade. Definitely recommend this place and will be back to try the tamales! *update I went back on 7/5. I tried the chicken fajitas and my son gad the beef burrito. Unfortunately my chicken was extremely dry and rubbery. There was no char to the chicken or the veggies. I was so disappointed. My son's burrito, the first top half had just rice and the bottom half just meat. The didn't wrap it right. Maybe it's a new cook. I still love their chips and salsa. Guacamole is also good. This place serves authentic Mexican food! I've had their tacos, burritos and fajitas so fat. They make their own corn Tortilla and it is super soft and fresh. Their homemade spicy sauce is full on flavor. It's a little spot in Brooklyn Park but it is frequently busy. Service Take out

Very upset and disappointed at this place. We used to LOVE this place. It was our favorite taco spot but they changed their meat and instead of steak they now use ground beef. For the price we pay per taco you would think we would atleast get steak. We hope they change back to the steak if not we will not be spending our money here Service Take out Price per person $50–100

I ordered the Birria Tacos and my friend ordered the Steak Tortas. The tortas tasted really great ! Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the Birria Tacos. It’s disappointing because that’s the most expensive item on the menu. The taco meat was flavorless and the Birria soup was bland. I tried to put hot sauce and lime but even that didn’t help. There was no salt in the meal. I also bought the tres leches which was nasty. I couldn’t take more than a few bites. I would definitely come back for the Tortas tho… Update Day 2: I’m writing this sitting on the toilet in agonizing pain. Wish I didn’t eat here yesterday. So I spent the last 2 days looking for a place that served authentic Meican food and Tacos El Paraiso did not let me down. 3 of us ordered chicken fajitas, chicken quesadillas, fried chicken tacos and both a pork and a chicken tamale. Everything was excellent and we will be back!

Steak Tacos were good! Chicken tacos were a little dry. Be aware of the mango habanero salsa!
