Nice place for a quiet beer and conversation with a local or two. Weekends aren't too busy so there's always room for one more. Friendly staff, good prices and a good variety of spirits and beers to choose from. Offer keno and several TV locations to view games. Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a cool place to have beer and some good bar food. The beers are a proper size (huge) and the food is great. Get the coneys and fries; you wont be sorry. I was taken aback by the small size of the fries, but they tasted great.

Sat a booth pretty much immediately knew I wasn’t going to be a served. Moved to the bar, had to ask twice for a menu. Was never asked if I wanted to order, finished my beer and left. Maybe 5 people at the bar, such sad service

Stopped in randomly when in Troy. They had a list of items not available due to supply issues. OK, understand that is a thing now in some cases. Chose items not on the list only to be informed that the list wasn't complete and no onion rings were available at that time. Also had to wait for the owner to return as he is the cook. We waited and ordered food, it was OK. Not great and probably not worth waiting for. We were hoping to find a nice local place for our increasing trips to Troy but probably will not come here again.

Ordered a hamburger well done and was not well done. My man ordered a Patty melt well done and it wasn't. Was told it was well done temp. Bad answer. I wanted a new one. Told me and my man next time will make it well done. Again bad answer. We still had to pay for our food. I got onion rings with mine. Got home and threw up a few times. This place gives food poisoning. We won't be back. This place sucks. I told family and friends if they want food poisoning thats the place to go.

Just moved to the area and was looking for a good place for beer. Walked into Tappers and was immediately greeted by the owner Ed. Could not have asked for a better experience. Food was fantastic, beer was fresh and cold and the wait staff was very attentive. My friends and I will definitely be back again as regulars. This place has a very welcoming 'Cheers' vibe and is fantastic.
