When they say Tavern, they mean it. It's the place you go on a Saturday night to get great food, music, and service. It's not over crowded, but just right. My sliders were to die for. Tara's Tavern is a great place out in in Wrightstown. It's a cozy restaurant with a full bar and full kitchen. There are plenty of beers on tap - and a number of local brews as well, like Screamin Hill. The menu has a lot of food choices too, that are very reasonably priced. We've been here a few times and everything we've had is just great. The portions are very large too, so be prepared to bring some home. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We'll definitely be back! The service at this place was amazing. Our bartender greeted us immediately and then served me the coldest beer I ever drank in my life. Now I know beer is supposed to be served cold but no, it was so crisp and fresh. I’d go as far and say that the beers were rejuvenating and even refreshing. Followed by that out of this world beer were the delicious fried tomatoes, they didn’t skimp on the sauce either. We were also served the spicy garlic shrimp which was crispy and very flavorful. The sauce served on the side was equally delicious. Lastly, the overall atmosphere was very chill. The music was on point. 10/10 experience. I would totally drive an hour away again just to enjoy Tara’s Tavern. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

The food was good and fairly priced. The fries that came with the burgers were a hit with everyone in my party. I got the pumpkin martini out of curiosity and would recommend it to fans of pumpkin spice, but the most noteworthy item I got was the Belgian Waffle beer. Event I was with couldn't get over how much it actually smelled like a waffle, even from six seats away at the bar. It also genuinely tasted like a wake which was very pleasant for the first half, but too sweet for the second half. I would recommend trying it for the experience if you only plan on getting 1 beer, not so much if you plan on drinking more. I love Tara's. The food is always AMAZING!! Legit AMAZING. I can't leave without white chicken chili To-Go. The staff is awesome; very friendly and accommodating. And I especially love the live music they have. The patrons are all really cool as well. Shrimp Parmesan Sandwich...sauce, bread and cheese was great. Shrimp cooked to perfection, but my only concern was the tails were left on the shrimp..cutting and taking a bite was a gamble if you got shrimp meat or all tail. Pulled Pork Quesadilla was awesome. We also started with a cup of the soup of the day which was Stuffed Pepper Soup which was perfect. We enjoy the food here and is one of our go to places. Love this tavern! We’ve been going here since 2011 and it’s become one of our favorite places to go! Great food, tasty drinks, amazing staff who are especially good with the kids, and smiling faces. We also do takeout sometimes and never had one issue with special orders (even those to accommodate an allergy)!
