A Promising New Café in Subic Bay Average Star: 4/5 GENERAL REVIEW: Taza is a promising new café that is very accessible for people who do not have cars, as you can walk to it coming from SM Olongapo Downtown. Price is a bit confused as ala cart viands are pricey, but their “silog” meals affordable. The ambiance is both relaxing and cozy. Food is slightly above average for the price. Overall, the café has good potential to be one of the bests in Olongapo and SBFZ. AMBIANCE: 5 The place has a very “clean” look. Mostly white, it has green and natural wood accents. The café also has a section for a small group with a view of an Olympic-sized swimming pool. LOCATION: 5 The place is accessible for people who will walk via the main entrance of SBFZ. It also has a huge parking space shared with other tenants of the building. PRICE: 3 Since the place is new, it is understandable that the price point is a bit “confused.” Their “silog” meals are very affordable (a huge serving of meat, fried rice, and two pieces of eggs at 200PHP with free juice/coffee ). In general, their ala carte viands are a bit expensive for the amount of serving. FOOD: 3.5 I am torn with the quality of food as with the four times I’ve visited, some of my repeat orders’ quality and quantity were inconsistent. They are very creative with how they cook and present some of their food. Their Bicol Express looks like a chunky version of sisig but tastes like an authentic Bicol Express. Their barbeque chicken is served on a sizzling plate with some form of sauce that reminds me of peri-peri. Their ube pannacotta is a game of “find the ube ball” DRINKS: 3.5 The choice of drink is limited and is offered in either 12 or 16oz. The taste and quality are superb for the price. SERVICE: 4 The ratio of servers to tables is excellent, which translates to fast delivery. Service is very efficient. Servers are very polite and are not chatty (unless you put in the effort). Missing one star is for their lack of nametags and payment options (for now, they only accept cash).

One of our favorite places to eat at when in Subic. Foods are great and serving is generous, too. All time fave here is Taza Salad, Chicken Quinoa Salad and the Aglio Olio Pasta. Their coffee is awesome as well. Variety of food choices. Everything is good! Decent price. 👌 Only accepts CASH.
The coffee is good, but they should stick to Filipino food. The portion size of the salmon was ridiculously small, they wouldn’t substitute fries for mashed potatoes… and then forgot my fries, and my wife’s tuna was ridiculously over cooked!! Plus, it’s the first time I’ve ever been served fish with skin that still had scales!! I mean come on guys… if you don’t know how to cook something… just don’t serve it all!! Everyone believes the service and quality is better inside SBMA… all I’ve seen is higher prices for the same or less.
Found this coffee shop while getting my swab results as it is located across the site of Red Cross in Subic. It was a nice spot for breakfast or to hangout anytime of the day when in subic. Pretty interiors and staff is accommodating. Love the coffee and the food that they serve.
Everything was okay. Food was tasty, coffee is good, but they seemed understaffed. They were all friendly. The only con i have is that they are not pet friendly. They had our dog stay outside while we dined :’( Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₱400–600 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Sinigang Na Bangus

Very lovely and clean place, new building, next to the new Adidas store by Main Gate. I have eaten breakfast and dinner here and the food and service is very good. Try the Filipino Breakfasts, the Cappuccino and Lattes are delicious. Dinner we had chicken Salpicao and chicken quinoa salad, really excellent.
The dishes here are amazing. Try their sizzling sisig. I guarantee that it will give you the best experience in sisig dishes. I also enjoy the pantries they offer. And the coffee is brewed perfectly. There's pictures below and i hope you'll find it useful. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

9 Jun 2021 This place is really noisy. They blast the music too loud. When they run the blender it makes a deafening noise. And, in Filipino culture, there is no such thing as "indoor voice." 13 May 2021 Today I ordered their toasted ham and cheese sandwich and their chop-chop salad. The sandwich wasn't toasted. In fact, it was just barely warmed. They could make this sandwich so much better if they would toast it in a frying pan with some butter until the outside was a nice golden brown. The chop chop salad was served swimming in extremely salty water. It was more like soup. In general, this place uses way too much salt in their food. 5 May 2021 Good food, home-cooked style and great service. I like this place. I ordered the sizzling salpicao with a side of garlic rice. The flavor was very good but it was really salty. It wasn’t sizzling, either, since it was served in a sauce. On their coffee menu they list a 12 oz and a 16 oz cappuccino but if you tell them you want a double shot with a little milk and some foam, they’ll do it right. Their double chocolate cupcake is a good compliment to the cappuccino.
Great place, weird food. Pork sinigang: wrong cut of pork to use for the dish. three pieces of bone with a measly amount of pork meat on it. non-traditional vegetables like included like bok choy. Unfortunately way too sour; too much sampalok mix, maybe? Soup tasted like it was powdered. Sizzling salpicao: way off the mark. Doesn't taste anywhere close what a salpicao should taste like. Enough garnish to make a wig. Has carrots, onions, and bell peppers. Mushrooms tasted like they've gone bad. Mozarella sticks: mozarella inside the sticks are totally bland, the tomato dip couldn't save it. Bagoong rice: probably the only decent order we had, but also too much garnish to make a wig.

Newly opened Filipino Cuisine & Cafe. Food is good and well presented albeit a bit too slow despite having only three tables to serve. Will try out some other dishes on its menu soon.
