It has a great atmosphere on beyond and decor with plenty of TVs to watch. The food could be better. The rice was pretty dry, and it looked like it was a day old or cooked a little too long. The Birria meat was tender and flavored well, but I wish I had a bit more onions and cilantro layered on top rather than inside because it was just mush. First time here with friends for lunch. The interior is lovely. The staff are friendly. The food was adequate. Nothing that left an impression. The guacamole was lacking flavor, which they seem to mask with adding pico on top. The veggie tacos also need something… maybe spice? We got the elote, chicken fajita, beef short ribs and the caramel lava cake. Food was good although the short ribs were lukewarm at best. The service was excellent and we had a good time. Loved the experience from beginning to end. Immediately seated, got menus, ordered calamari and shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious and flavorful! Service was good. Second time here. Great variety and a good kids menu. Drinks were outstanding (how I often judge Mexican restaurants). I went Enchiladas Rojas and it was good. I don't eat pork. Their bean dip. Great. You know what's in it? Pork. No mention of it until after we eat it. Steak fajitas. Has chorizo. What steak fajitas have chorizo and listed as like a 5th ingredient? The steak fajitas itself is super salty and almost like a lomos saltado and you can't even see what you're eating. Just too much. Dietary concerns were raised and apparently they weren't aware of it? 🙄 sure. Do not recommend for taste or to make such accomodations. I have been to three different branches and different time and unfortunately the quality has dropped and price has skyrocketed! Tacos are good but 22 dollars for two tacos?? Quesadillas are not good. Not bad Mexican place (not incredibly authentic though). The menu is relatively small, but most will find what they want on it. Interior is nice but you can go casually and not be under dressed. Service was friendly but slow. I’ve had the Grilled Skirt Steak Tampiquena - it’s essentially an entire skirt steak rolled up. The sauce it comes with is not your typical steak sauce, though it’s quite good. Grilled chicken fajitas are also very good.
