The Chicken bites, were unbelievably small, but tasty enough.
Double pepperoni pizza with cheesy bites was very-very good, especially if you consider what ingredients you can find in sri Lankan market.
Chicken pizza in Italian crust, was tasty and satisfying enough, although not Italian at all.
This is the local version of KFC/Pizza hut. Went there in an evening, it was hot as hell inside. The AC was off, although it did nothing after it was turned on. Most people who came ordered take aways which was what I did. It was too hot to wait. The fried chicken was ok, chips were really good. Would call and order from here but would not go to eat there. The menu is given here in case you want to order as well.
Restaurant Review: Tennessee Eats - A True Southern Delight
Rating: ★★★★☆
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tennessee Eats, a charming restaurant located in the heart of downtown Nashville. As a fan of Southern cuisine, I was eager to experience the flavors and hospitality that the restaurant promised. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
The first thing that struck me about Tennessee Eats was the authenticity of its menu. Offering a wide range of traditional Southern dishes, the restaurant truly captured the essence of Tennessee's culinary heritage. From crispy fried chicken to savory smoked ribs and creamy macaroni and cheese, every item on the menu showcased the rich flavors and soulful cooking techniques that make Southern food so beloved.
One standout dish that I highly recommend is their signature Nashville hot chicken. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with a delightful blend of spices, and the crispy coating provided just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavors. Served with a side of fluffy buttermilk biscuits and tangy coleslaw, it was a delightful combination of textures and flavors that left me craving for more.
In addition to the exceptional food, Tennessee Eats boasted an impressive selection of beverages, including a variety of craft beers and handcrafted cocktails. The knowledgeable and friendly staff was more than happy to recommend pairings that complemented the flavors of the dishes.
The service at Tennessee Eats was outstanding. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they served. They were quick to offer suggestions and ensure that every guest's dining experience was personalized and enjoyable. The waitstaff was prompt and efficient, creating a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with rustic decor and a relaxed atmosphere. The space was tastefully decorated, featuring subtle nods to the state's musical heritage. Live music performances added to the lively and enjoyable atmosphere, creating a true taste of Tennessee's vibrant culture.
The only reason I'm not giving Tennessee Eats a full five-star rating is due to the occasional longer wait times during peak hours. While understandable given the restaurant's popularity, it's worth noting for those with time constraints. Nevertheless, the wait was well worth it once the mouthwatering food arrived at the table.
Overall, Tennessee Eats is a delightful restaurant that captures the essence of Southern cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with genuine Southern hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. With its authentic flavors, exceptional service, and charming ambiance, Tennessee Eats is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the best of Tennessee's culinary traditions.

The place seems attractive with good options. The service and the quality of food is questionable. The waiter could not get my order and it seemed he had questionable knowledge of the menu. The food was good, although the bun of the burger seemed a little dry. Would recommend the place to a group of people looking for a place with a variety of options.
As an European longterm tourist I know the taste of real italian pizza. The quality is even far away from Srilankan Pizzahut. The dough is sweet, the sauce is simply ketchup of minor quality and the socalled cheese has never seen milk before...
Over all it's by far the ugliest food you could get all over Batticaloa
Tried fried chicken in sandwiches. It was ok. The fries were good. We were quite disappointed because many items on the menu weren't available. The service was quick though.
Tennessee Fried Chicken is located in Batticaloa Town. One and only Southern Style fried Chicken shop in Eastern Province. They have a friendly environment. Catering for take away and a home delivery service in Batticaloa. They serve a variety of wholesome options to customers every day. They are providing quality ingredients and famous items like World Famous French Fries, variety of Burgers ( Chicken Burger, Beef Burger, Fish Burger & Veg Burger) and a range of delicious Pizza and Kebab. And they have Slush drinks and deserts....
Don t miss this place. Visit and enjoy your self
I was quite impressed with the Pepperoni Pizza.. Worth the price and the taste was excellent. However felt the chicken was a bit overpriced but was of good quality..
