Came with a group of friends for dinner after hiking. We had some chips and salsa, delicious…Ordered fajitas and it was yummy! I didn’t order a margarita this time but I will next time!! Great authentic restaurant. Service is good. Food is yummy and comes out quickly. One of my local favorites. I'm not a fan of getting it for take out because they use the styrofoam containers with hot food. So it melts. But other than that, food is so good. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was great and helpful to me in making choices. Don't forget about deserts, lol. If you don't have room, then get it to go. Don't miss out on trying this place. The food here was amazing! We went on a busy Friday or Saturday night and they were able to seat us in 10-15 minutes. The chips and salsa were delicious. There were a lot of options to choose from and the prices were affordable. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos. I would go back again for more great food!

Young female server spoke poor English and was VERY slow with horrible customer service. She cleared dirty plates when we were done but did not offer the check. She engaged in personal conversations with other servers for several minutes before she finally decided to bring the check and handed over with no appreciation for our business. Tequilas has one of the best queso dips I've had. The service is also really good. There are a bunch of things to choose between on the menu food and drink wise. If you're looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Gastonia, try tequilas.

Rude customer service. Never seems to be a manager around. Dine in customers receive priority service. Take out is sad. Maybe one tiny cup of salsa, dine in gets all they want. Take out is always made wrong, missing items you paid for. Always have to call and go back to try and just get what you paid for. Too much compaction to provide sad , pathetic service. Too bad, I have been a loyal customer for years. Just provide what I pay for, without having to drive back. Focus on take out customers, why does one little cup of salsa all you get, Dine in gets what they want. Tips i'm sure is an issue. Sad to lose customers to other restaurants. I expect no reply.
