The food was amazing. The chicken skrewers were the best I ever had in my life. The dill infused traditional pasta is delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

If you’re looking for ambiance and location Terrassa is the best option in within the walled city. We ordered 2 fresh juice, one soup, one kebab and a tea. The bill came to 320k. So yes it’s expensive. Taste wise just average for me. If you’re looking for authentic tasty and cheap food, go outside the walled city and try.

Terrassa is definitely the standout restaurant of choice in Khiva. Compared to others there, it offers good service and quality food. I recommend their house made iced ginger and lemon tea, but don’t be surprised if it sells out quickly.

We tried a number of vegetarian dishes over the course of two days, enjoyed every single one of them. Good number of vegetarian options. The staff is really friendly. The atmosphere is great, and the view is beautiful. Good location.

I visited the restaurant three times during my stay in Khiva because the atmosphere was so pleasant.
Firstly, the service was excellent. All the staff were kind and friendly, and the timing of serving drinks and dishes was impeccable, causing no stress at all.
Furthermore, all the dishes were delicious. Though the variety of alcohol was limited, it was still served at an appropriate temperature without any issues.
Khiva is a tourist destination, and especially in other restaurants and shops within the city walls, there are many places that do not clearly display prices and attempt to charge foreigners exorbitant amounts.
In contrast, this restaurant does not add an automatic service charge, making it a fantastic dining establishment.

It is a very peaceful and delicious place. I can't get enough of it every day. When it's cold, Gentleman will cover you with a blanket. His smile is beautiful. Come and see the sunset. You won't be disappointed. If Koreans come, please tell me what I told you. Don't forget. "Masitke muku"

We visited here with a group from our tour as the place is easy to find, just inside the west gate. The menu was excellent, well laid out and English descriptions too.
We had a lovely view over Kaltor Minor Minaret while we waited for the food and when it arrived it was delicious. The dill noodles were particularly good.
There is plenty of space inside or on the roof terrace, depending on the weather and it was a great place to relax, enjoy the food and take in the view. Prices were decent too.

Came three nights in a row. Can't beat the view. Food was quite good as was the service. Much better than food experience in Bukhara. Not sure why there are comments that the food is expensive. It's not going to be free nor the cost of street food. Relative to Western countries the food is reasonable. You also have to take into consideration the ambience.

They say you want to have the best views of Khiva old city, you got to come here and dine in Terrassa Cafe.
I visited on a day where Khiva was pretty quiet, not many tourists in the streets and restaurants which are not full.
I had my lunch already was exploring the old city when I decided to pop by Terressa for a drink in the mid afternoon as the weather was quite hot. The waiter ushered me to the upper floor to have a good view around the Kuhna Ark.
As the weather was very hot, no one was sitting outside directly at the terrace and all were sitting in the semi shaded area.
I was still quite full so I decided to order a cake and a drink and just chill and watch the world go by.
Had a chocolate cake, a baklava and a raspberry mint drink. So enjoyable to be having sweet treats and enjoying the view. Also got to use the free Wi-Fi here.
Was about to leave then suddenly there was a black out and the staff was just hanging around doing nothing. I wanted to leave then I asked for the bill they told me they couldn't print the receipt so they came to calculate the bill manually and I paid and left.
Definitely worth a visit.
