This was a wonder location of Texas Roadhouse. The Hostesses were super sweet and they all had up beat smiles and demeanors. Our waitress was super sweet and always made sure we were taken care of, whether that be extra bread rolls with butter to always make sure our beverages were full! Used to be my favorite restaurant, I have never had or ever heard of a complaint..... I recently visited the Texas Roadhouse at River Point had my favorite Fort Worth Rib eye largest one they have. . I received my Meal, I proceeded to cut the meat which usually this cut of meat only requires a fork, Unfortunately I had to use a knife this time the first bite I tried I could not even chew up, Deposited in a Napkin, Second bite the same, Third bite the same.... I asked the waiter if this was the proper cut he assured me that it was, I didn't need any more mistake ask for my check $38.50 ... I asked them if they were really gonna charge me for this steak... The answer was how big of a tip would I like to leave...... Needless to say I will not be going back to Texas Roadhouse.... EDITED 2/14/24 THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSE!!!!! If you was so interested in addressing the issue, one would think it would have taken place at time of complaint... This restaurant was clean and not busy for lunch on a Friday. This particular restaurant wasn't as receptive to guests as others I have been to. At the door, despite not being busy, the hosts were rude and not inviting. The gal who sat us rolled her eyes at us and I wasn't sure why. It wasn't the tone of hospitality I had expected. It seemed they were LGBTQ friendly but not amongst all employees. Maybe that is where the poor service experience began. My burger was dry and the "suggested" cheese fries were cold and the cheese wasn't melted. I don't think we will visit this Texas Roadhouse again. Food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all phenomenal. The butter with the bread is addictive, the margarita was the best I have had in a long time. Steak (even well done) was juicy and delicious. I usually avoid chain restaurants but this one was really not bad! The food was surprisingly better than we expected. Chicken fried steak was tasty, we also really liked their mashed potatoes and butter corn. Would recommend skipping appetizers, fried pickles and Rattlesnake bites were underwhelming. Fast and friendly service. Excellent steak for the money. A good value meal; it’s not inexpensive per se, but you get a good dinner for the price. Music a bit loud and seats a bit uncomfortable (they don’t want you to linger… velocity is key to their profitability) for our taste but overall a pleasant experience.
