We went for my husband's birthday. Staff standing at the door near menus but no one greeted us. So we asked, "Do we just sit anywhere?" There were plenty of empty tables to choose from and 3 staff standing at the door when we came in so it didn't seem too busy. We were told "Just a minute, I'm speaking to him." Then the 3 staff people finished the tense conversation and walked away. We stood there for a few minutes and then asked another staff person about a table. "Just a minute." Then she left. Finally, we got seated upstairs. Our waitress was busy but came over when she could. She was very welcoming and friendly. We gave the entire order, including drinks. After 15 minutes, she brought water. Then, at 30 minutes, without any sign of the BOTTLE of beer, they seated her another 6 top. My husband asked about the beer. "We're busy, it's going to be a minute." Now, I admit, the bar was hopping, people singing with the bartender but some staff were washing bar glasses so why we had to wait a half hour for a BOTTLE of beer, I'm confused. So, after waiting another 5 minutes we left. We didn't even see our waitress so we could tell her we were leaving. We went to another place, Mr. Joe's. Greeted immediately, sat immediately, waitress came and took our drink order immediately even though the place was packed and our table was being cleaned when we walked in. Within 30 minutes of arriving, we had our delicious food and my husband was on his second beer. TGI Friday's Corporate needs to visit incognito and see for themselves.
