We experienced a delightful fusion of Thai and pub cuisine with ample parking available. The Pad See Ew noodle was chewy and delicious, although a tad too salty and sweet, yet ultimately satisfying.

New favourite Thai restaurant in Wānaka. Can recommend the Pad Thai, Tomyum fried rice, pineapple fried rice and Yellow curry. Super friendly, delicious and big portions. They also deliver.

Whilst it’s a club and may not have the normal Thai decorations that normally go with a traditional Thai restaurant ( it has a pub/ canteen style feel as you order and collect your meals when ready - announced by a buzzer),this place could not be more authentically Thai with the beautiful welcome smile and very warm hospitable atmosphere. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. The price is more than reasonable for the huge meal. The food was truly superb. we felt like we were back in Thailand. Genuinely nice people who go out of their way to look after you. We highly recommend this unassuming wonderful place. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved this place! Delicious food and super friendly service. I had the basil stir fry with pork - generous veggies and rice came with it, and I had enough to take home. Husband had Pad Thai and he ate all of it, even though the portion was generous. Would happily return, maybe even for delivery.

Delicious food and excellent service - the staff are always so friendly, and very engaging with our toddler, who also loves the food. Our favourite dishes are pad thai, yellow curry, pad kra pow and the squid!

Food was good but not as good as expected when you look at the rating. Massaman Curry was not how it is often served by restaurants in Thailand or at other places in New Zealand. Taste was good though, but difference to the red curry in my girlfriends plate was the sauce only (no cashews, no nuts, almost no potatos). Still, it was good but looked very different of what you see on some pics.
Service was non existing. once somebody of the kitchen team showed up and asked about the quality, but thats it.
Ambiete does not exist. The three guys guitar band sang/played well, but was way too loud. Moreover, drinks are sold at the other side of the room, separate
Cashier. No beer if you are not registered in a Kiwi-registry (as tourists we are not).
So overall, its a four star because it is very fairly priced too, otherwise I would have rated with three stars only.

Strange place. In the middle of a residential neighborhood. We thought we got to the wrong place. Parking is behind the house. Not at all clear where to order the food. But once you get over all that, the food was really excellent and large portions!! We sat outside in the yard which was nice. Service was fast and again, tasted great! Two thumbs up!!

After Thai 2 Go closed I was craving a good green curry. I even went to Cromwell and got a speeding ticket to get one.
Thai Taste makes a delicious green curry, similar to Thai 2 Go, just with more veg, but probably not organic. I was grateful they advertised a vegetarian and vegan option after I asked them. I would add tofu as standard to improve it (not sure if it was missed or not included).
Wanaka has a decent Thai restaurant again!

We r traveling and just wanted a quick bite. We are from the US so our bar is not very high!!! But we can honestly say that the Tom Kha soup with coconut rice nah be the best food we ate, ever!!! Not just Thai!!

It’s quite generous portion and I would suggest sharing a bowl to allow space for other food!
