My brother and I had an amazing night (June 2023) and really enjoyed our meals. Thank you for the amazing service and great atmosphere. If I resend my review - it’s due to google always removing my reviews for no good reason :) We had the entree for 2, sweet & sour chicken and red curry. Fantastic!

We don't have a lot of nice Asian restaurants in Whanganui and this would be the best in town, the atmosphere is comfortable and food are delicious 😋 they do have a very wide range of food for you to select. The owner is very nice and helpful, if you are thinking of birthday dinner or gathering, this place is the best place in town. The place was very busy waited 1/2 hour for starters then nearly another hour for my main - my partners main didn’t arrive even though this was chased up We had explained we were in a hurry so just paid for what we ate. No apology from the staff The tofu satay was not particularly flavoursome-very average. As we were seated on the pavement hard to comment on the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The foods were amazing at the Thai Villa. Rightly seasoned. Hence maybe the reason why there's no salt and pepper on their tables. We have a Beef Curry Penang, Chicken Pad Thai, Roti and Tom Yum Soup. The atmosphere though was another story. The place was so congested and tight. When more customers came with their kids, we started to get headaches because of the loud noises. Almost like a food court. The decorations on the wall were also crooked. Service wise, it was alright but no personal touch. We will have takeway next time perhaps. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I had pad Thai and my husband had the massaman curry. I really enjoyed my pad Thai but the curry! I kept stealing portions from my husband it was amazing. Can’t say much for the atmosphere as was quiet when we went for dinner as was early, but the service was great and staff were all very friendly. Glad to have this place up and running again. Its always one of my fav places to eat.good food good location good vibes here .great banquet set menus too.

Had the Penang curry and it was quite appetizing. Tried their drunken noodles, deviating from our usual order of Pad Thai when we eat in Thai places, and we went with Thai hot 🔥 and it delivered! Meat was a little chewy so that's 1 less star. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Tuesday 20th June 2023. Went here to grab a take away evening meal. Place was ramping up (getting busier) so adked if I could order the Lamb Shank Meal as a take home. Due to having had a significantly large order come in it was going to take about 40 mins to prepare. That was fine and the lady serving took my mobile number to call me when it was ready. Pleasant and accommodating staff. They called around yhe 35 minute mark so I went back and picked it up. Brilliant food. A couple of lamb shanks that had the meat falling off the bone. Beautiful oily gravy it was in and a side of rice. Fantastic flavors!! Actually enough to do me for two feeds. Would quite recommend this place and would happily return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. Well done.
