I highly recommend this restaurant! Good atmosphere, comfortable and quiet in the evening.(I visited there on low season, May) The staff was friendly and very helpful :)) He explained well about the dishes before ordering. The taste of dishes and drinks were good and reasonable as well! One of the best Myanmar food which I've eaten. The potion of dishes were surely enough for me, but some people, especially if you're big eater, possibly think the potion a little bit small. (But it's reasonable already, you can just order many kinds of dishes!)

All of the reviews are right. Home made food, authentic cuisine, lovingly served by a warm family. We tried everything on the menu. Fried prawns, grandmas chicken & pork with tea leaf weed highlights. Would go again for these 3 dishes. They have their own kitchen garden for the restaurant. The best Burmese food we have had since 7 days of stay in Burma. Better than yangoon !

We were here for dinner around sunset and the place is lovely, with a beautiful ambience. The food is the best we've had in our week long stay in Myanmar so far. We're vegetarians, so we ordered a potato salad too start with, followed by pumpkin and basil in coconut sauce and mix veg curry. The pumpkin curry was so so so amazing! For desserts we had steamed banana in coconut milk and black rice in coconut milk (yes we love coconut milk hahaha) and I don't know which one was better, they were both delicious! It's a family run restaurant for the last 3 generations and you can tell, from the food. The Eldest-Thomas was kind and happy to chat up and share a lot about this beautiful country too

One of the best restaurants we've been in Myanmar so far. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Beautiful smiles everywhere. Coming back for sure.

Pumpkin curry wasn't bad, but the famous pumpkin with pork was pretty flavorless. The worst is the pork was overcooked, leaving me disappointed after reading the good reviews! I expected better, especially for 5000.

We had the signature The Ancestor's Pork with Jackfruit and Shan Style Chicken Noodles. I absolutely loved the noodles, highly recommended!! The pork dish is slightly spicy, but still tasty.

Lovely family restaurant and good quality food. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Service was a bit slow as they were really busy, but we were informed of this before sitting down.

We had the best fish here! It’s something called inle style fish in garlic gravy. So great. The price is okay.

Recommended. Very good food and sevice. I will be back next time round. Lemon grass drink bit uncomfortable to drink, hence score.
