Very disappointed with the chocolate croissants, I specifically asked the waitron if the croissants were fresh and made the day I was there and his reply was yes. When I received it it was so stale, they didn’t bother to warm it up all that they did was pour chocolate sauce over it. Otherwise the atmosphere is very nice. Outstanding! Our waiter was very helpful and helped us move 3 times due to weather, the food was absolutely delicious. And very well priced. The croissants were out of this world. Very nice little corner bakery in a safe area, there is sufficient parking for all the restaurants. 10/10!

The bakery is nice, good pastries and I recommend the almond croissant. The sit down service and food was not quiet up to scratch. Found a piece of plastic in my toasted sandwich which is concerning. Lovely little spot in Linden for a quick breakfast. We've been twice and the experience was lovely, with a wide range of lovely breakfasts to choose from. Doggies are welcome and water is provided on arrival (for the dogs). Inside the bakery, of course, there is a bunch of lovely croissants and breads to choose from. Service was good and friendly. We sat outside on the sidewalk under umbrellas, allowing you to look at all the buzz happening in Linden. Fun!

Very cool spot. Had the French toast with banana, added avo in place of the bacon. Bought pastries to take away which were devine. Loads of seating outside as well as inside. Friendly service.

I love the Argentinian! It has a great vibe and unique atmosphere! It’s situated in the very lovely linden strip of cute shops and other restaurants just a hop a and a skip away ! Recently visited for brunch, lovely place, friendly staff, and good food. Their chocolate croissant from their bakery is a must! Although Would be nice for their practiced more hygiene, the table we were sat on wasn’t wiped or cleaned (dusty) and the cup that I ordered the latte wasn’t very clean either.

Went for breakfast last Sunday… Was brought a glass with milkshake residue in it, to my Dairy allergic GF. They had run out of Coca Cola, we settled for Fanta as a third choice, as it was what they had. We ordered a chorizo, basil and bacon frittata, the first two ingredients were omitted, We’ve frequented the Argentinian regularly, take seeing the service/quality drop. Best croissants in Joburg, wow👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Be it plain or stuffed with what’s to your liking, you can’t go wrong with a croissant from this place. The great service was just a cherry on top.
