Visitors indicate that it's fine to go here for the Cajun and Creole meal. You can share nicely cooked crab meat, trout and rich gumbo with your friends and spend a good time here. Many people come to degust good key lime pie, crème brûlée and brownies. This restaurant will offer you delicious Mimosas, wine or champagne. A lot of visitors order great coffee. The warm atmosphere of The Chimneys makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The creative staff welcomes guests all year round. The nice service is a great advantage of this place. You will pay attractive prices for your meal. Also, the fireplace is lovely. Google users are quite generous with this spot: it was rated 4.6 stars.

I had an outstanding experience at The Chimneys on Friday night. Making a reservation online was easy and I opted to sit on the patio. Morgan was an excellent server. Her service was welcoming, pleasant, knowledgeable, cheerful and she made the whole experience very comfortable. I had the snapper that was featured for the evening. It was absolute perfection. Served piping hot, very flavorful, and tasted very fresh. The Mississippi Mud Cake was decadent and a great treat. Morgan was thoughtful and considerate of pacing for my meal, ensuring that each course came out at the perfect time. The view, surrounded by trees and being able to see the water, made this a great way to enjoy a peaceful Friday night out on my own. Towards the end of my meal I was greeted by the restaurant’s (very polite, well-behaved and not intrusive) outdoor cat who lazily made his rounds on the floor. Overall, a lovely experience. I would highly recommend this as a great place for a romantic date night or a special occasion. Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Desserts

Always a great meal and cozy comfortable location. The fireplace adds warmth and ambiance in the winter. The surf and turf, photo attached, is always cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Family members had a wonderful meal on the evening of February 6 at The Chimneys. The food and atmosphere was excellent, but maybe the best experience we had was the service provided by our server, Ruth. Her service could not have been better and her suggestions, when we asked for her advice was spot on. She made a wonderful evening even better. Thanks Ruth! We sat on the porch, looking out over the gulf. It was beautiful! It was a bit chilly, but the server ensured that I had not only one heater but 2 to keep me warm! The food was fabulous....seafood eggplant and the seafood omelet with mimosas!!!! Fine dining at its best.... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went for Sunday brunch and loved everything they had to offer. The location and restaurant are upscale and beautiful. The food was upscale, very well prepared and delicious. Our server was friendly, professional and attentive. Everything I would expect from a higher end restaurant. Very well done! Looking forward to our next visit. Exceeded expectations! A truly wonderful dining experience that won't disappoint. Reservations are not required, but highly recommended as this restaurant gets very busy and for good reason. Every dish has a "wow" factor and is absolutely delicious. Service is top notch. Upscale atmosphere that is warm and inviting. View of the ocean can be seen through the front windows (from a majority of the tables), or from the front porch dining area. Parking is limited. If the parking lot is full, then the restaurant will probably be also. I wish we had discovered this place on our first day of vacation instead of our last. Otherwise, we would have eaten here multiple times during our visit. We will return on our next visit to this area.

We have eaten at the Chimneys at least 10 times, including having our wedding with 35 guests. EVERY VISIT HAS BEEN SUPERB in terms of service, quality of food, cocktails, and fair prices. Best dishes are their fried crab claws, trout almadine, and wonderful French bread! Has a cozy, and warm feel making you feel welcomed and taken care of. This may be the best restaurant on the gulf coast. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Crab Claws

Arrival to this restaurant was pretty difficult. If you don't know where restaurant is located GPS will take you pass the restaurant by one turn. We're ended up in Salute parking lot. We had to ask for directions from people. Found it! Restaurant is a beautiful big old house with large porch that you can dining in. Walked in to a hostess asking if we had a reservation. We did not but it was still plenty of tables available. No wait time. After we got seated our waitress was with us within minutes. They serve you a warm French bread with butter while you wait for you're food. Food didn't take long to cook. Everything tastes amazing! You can tell all of the seafood was fresh! Great experience! Will definitely be back!

Really wanted to enjoy this place more than we did. Not necessarily bad, but being one of the most accoladed places on the Mississippi coast, just fell short. Felt like everything, not sharp and in need of a massive refresh. - No love with food, everything pre-made and just built on the plate. Confirmed with our professional chef who was a guest - Menus were cheaply laminated with difficult font to read - Pedestrian wine list is missing their golden price point. Everything was either cheap, grocery-store wines, or over-priced California Cabernets - Service was friendly, but overall, it was pretty sloppy and amateur considering the prices. Can't excuse basic steps being missed. - Gratuity was already included but not mentioned by the server when presenting the check. (Don't remember seeing it disclaimed on the menu either). We sat outside and really enjoyed the venue and weather. I'm not sure if we'll return on our next trip to Mississippi Gulf Coast. I'm pretty sure it was a one and done. But definitely missed the mark with lots of small details that should be hit at these prices. Not bad, not good. Very neutral experience at premium prices. Unfortunately when you Google "Gourmet Breakfast" in Mississippi Waffle House and McDonalds comes up. Thankfully I looked deeper and found this place to have brunch. I ordered the crab cakes and fried eggs, a side of bacon, and a side of cheese grits. Everything was tasty beyond expectations. And I say that because locally there aren't a lot of options for a decent breakfast. This place is definitely worth a visit for sure. Our server Bryan was attentive, informative, and our food arrived promptly and with complimentary mimosas! Go here.
