My experience here yesterday afternoon was the most terrible I have experience in my whole life of dining. My friends and myself decided to give the place a try, and recieved the most distasteful service. From the moment we worked in, we were not welcomed, as the person we first met at the bar walked away from us as we made our way to the bar (guy in the picture below) We navigated our way to the terrace and we called for the same guy to seek assistance in moving the umbrella outside so we could enjoy the shade, he blatantly refused, and was able to come to attend to other people of a different race. Regardless we stayed enjoyed the food, drinks and scenery. As we were about to leave my friend was expressing to the barman how unhappy we were with the service and took a picture so we could give a review. The same guy rushed to close the butler gate, locking them in shouting at the top of his voice, and intimidating them. This is the worst reception I have experienced, being a person who's worked in the hospitality industry. It's disgusting and appalling to say the least , how an immigrant could think his to good to serve black customers, and his service being exclusive to the other race.
I eagerly await to hear the resolution this is unacceptable.

It's just okay for a few drinks and pool.
Look elsewhere if you're looking to have a wild night out filled with loud music and lots of dancing.

Atmosphere is great. Great place to play pool but it would be great to have more people at the bar because it gets busy. You can wait quite some time to get service at the bar. Alcohol is a bit pricy and draughts aren't always poured correctly. Food is great and filling.

Pool is the name of the game. We always visit on weekdays between 16:00 and 18:00. Never had issues. Enough tables available to play on. Mainly a student venue.

Keep on the good work at Corner Pocket ,I salute ,and again I want to comment about that lady who wrote about Blessing the bar man for the issue you wrote there ,I don't think you was sober minded cz that guy is good shame he is not a fighter of customers ,I think somewhere somehow you were send to fight with him and if I was him I was going to sue you for just taking him photos and violating him at his work place, you need to be reported for that ,you don't just display people photos and harrrass them because they are foreigners never take advantage of that this needs to go far I think and you are putting Corner Pocket on tight for this

Such a lovely place to shift your daily concentration from work or responsibilities to playing a game of pool and having a drink with some friends. Nice environment with an electronic jukebox and relatively clean restrooms. The barmen are friendly and attentive and the security concerning minors are up to scratch. One of my favourite places to clear my head.
