Food was Yum, came out super quick, great price and really enjoyed it. We went on Steak night and it was cooked perfectly. Dumplings were really nice too. Love the cocktail I got. My new favourite. First time here and it will now be our regular! It had such a nice atmosphere and the service was so quick! We ordered drinks, an entree, lamb shank, pork belly and dessert and I can’t fault any of it! They not only looked amazing but tasted it too! And the drinks and food came out so quick! Nice atmosphere, but very expensive for food for the family. Cabinet is quite minimal. Using the Alternative brand milks which I personally don't like in coffees. Nice bar within. Better for a date night than a day out. Playground close by is great and a dairy for cheaper food! What a shame the lakes can't pull off what they do in the mount. Most beers weren't available. Wrong Wine served. Steak super chewy. Pork delicious 😋. Service was hit and miss. I'll try for lunch one day soon. Could and should be a banging spot. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

We ended up coming here on a Friday after finding the place we intended on going to had closed. We have enjoyed the food at the General at the Mount in the past. Had a very enjoyable meal here. I had 200g eye fillet steak which was excellent and cooked perfectly to my liking (medium rare). My wife had the crusted lamb fillet, also excellent. Just as good as The Mount branch! The General never disappoints on food, coffee, service and facilities. The food is super fresh & consistently good. Amazing place to take kids with a great kids menu & activity packs. Staff are fantastic. Eat & drink here!! Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A medium sized but relativly empty resturant. We got six pizzas and it took quite some time for them to be made even though there was almost no one else there. Prices were on the expensive side. Reasonably large menu with lots of selection. A kids menu which was well priced making it accessible for a family. Under cooked fries, underwhelming bratwurst sausage, a forgotten drink order and the filthiest toilets ever (the place wasn’t even busy), there are better options than spending your money here. Very disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
