Seen a post about the pizza on a Pizza Facebook group and gave it a try. So glad I did because it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back this is my new favorite pizza place in Shorewood/Plainfield area. Great crust, sauce and cheese. We opted for the mixed sauce, they let us sample the garlic, sweet and mixed. Pizza is outstanding. Fresh ingredients, crispy crust, best in the area! Service is top notch. They offer 3 sauce options and even allow you to taste test the sauce. They also offer to add crushed red pepper to the crust before baking. Phenomenal! This is a must try. You will not be disappointed. Skirt steak tacos A+. Top 3 I have had. We will be back. I’m so glad Great American Pizza is back. We had pizza with their signature garlic sauce and it’s better than I remembered. We also tried the tacos and the burgers. The steak on the taco was very tender and this was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The staff was great and it was very reasonably priced. It is our new go to place. My husband and I were regular customers of Great American Pizza in Homer Glen and were sad when they closed their doors. We were so happy to learn from our son that Great American Pizza is available once again! We visited Champions Sports Bar in Plainfield and as we pulled off of Route 59, we saw The Great American sign shining in the front window of Champions. They even have their old phone number. Champions is a sports bar with a "Cheers" like atmosphere but the whole family could enjoy an early dinner there or take it to go. Ethan operates the kitchen in Champions and offers the pizza we all love, and it was as good as I remembered. We told Emily, our server, that we had been loyal customers, and then Ethan came out from the kitchen to say hello. It was nice to hear that his Mom, Rose, is doing well. She must be happy that Ethan has perfected their pizza recipe. He is passionate about his menu and wants his customers to LOVE the food. Our table had a little bit of everything from the burgers, dirty fries and a pizza. The smash burger was absolutely amazing including all toppings! The Dirty fries smothered in steak and queso with jalapeños on the side were delicious. The Great American Pizza brought back to life from its original restaurant is better than ever with its outstanding garlic sauce. 10/10 would come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is our 4th time here. Consistently amazing. Amazing food. Amazing service. Also picked up pizza kits for the Super Bowl. Best pizza kits ever. Dough makes an awesome crust. This is a must in Plainfield. We will be back!

Food was awesome!! Burger was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Skirt steak tacos were delicious. Dirty Fries could cure any hangover with their fire queso and jalapeños.
