I went with the Young Black Professionals of WNY Meetup group for a happy hour, and we enjoyed ourselves. I had called over earlier to let them know about having a larger group coming that evening, and they were more than accommodating and allowed us to use their back room space. We ultimately stayed at the bar area since it wasn’t packed when we arrived but as it picked up, we had the still had the option to go to the back room. The happy hour specials were solid and it lasted from 7 to 9 PM (this was on a Friday night).
I had two of their specialty cocktails (regular $10; $7 for HH) and enjoyed them both. I also ordered the chicken fingers with french fries ($13). They were large in size and tasted good and they offered a lot of flavor options for additional charge if you wanted something other than mild, medium or hot. Their menu is very limited, and mostly just things from the fryer (think chicken wings, pizza logs, fries, Pastelitos, etc.)
Overall it was a good vibe especially if there with friends. Eventually there was a DJ so we had some music happening and it wasn’t over bearing in volume so you could still enjoy a nearby conversation. The floors were a little sticky and could use a mopping, but otherwise it was a nice, chill spot.
