Our journey took a delightful turn as we purchased a stunning bracelet, marking our travels. Ascending upstairs to the cafe, we were greeted by exquisite decor and two enchanting outdoor spaces. My opinion might be bias but, the moment I stepped into the shop I am in love😍 The place is very nice and peaceful. Beautiful decoration and yummy food. Price for everything is very very affordable. You can shop for clothes and accessories downstairs, coffee and food upstairs. I came here because I liked what I saw in the photos taken of the place. The vibe of this place is simply amazing. You have to walk up a flight of traditional wooden stairs to reach this cafe, which is on the 2nd floor. The space is airy and spacious. The background music is superb and relaxing. Coupled with the numerous pictures hanging on the wall, you got a recipe for an inspiring working session here. The staff is courteous and polite. Because I had coffee at other places and lunch before I came here, I only had a pot of ginger tea. It tasted great, fragrant and not too sweet. The Lonely Tree Cafe is a social enterprise setup to support people with disabilities and vulnerable youths. There is a shop on the first floor selling clothes, pottery, jewelry and all types of knick-knacks made locally. I especially love the cafe on the 2nd floor with its charming, cosy and peaceful vibes. It’s the perfect place to chill out, read a book, or simply just spend some quiet time alone for self-reflection. Ordered the pan-fried mushroom dumplings and eggplant caserole and both are good. This morning, I stopped by cafe shop in Battambang, and it was a delightful experience. I indulged in my favorite chocolate cake paired with a refreshing smoothie. Regular here :) Calm atmosphere and feels like home. The staff are welcoming and genuine. The food is good and portions adequate. (There is a small black cat that lingers around 👀🫶🏻) You can buy gifts for back home with the added benefit of taking part in a good cause, and the clothes and accessories are very pretty! My favorite restaurant in Battambang. Food was 10/10. Really enjoyed it. We went the every other days. First we loved to have LTC mango Salad and Gazpacho. Then LTC eggplant casserole, tortilla de patatas, onion rings and bravas! (Sorry for no photo, very busy to dig in. Forgot to take photos) we were 2 people but food is too good not to finish. Well final part is Lime pie. It is not too sweet and perfect sourness. Soft and crunchy crust. Everything is 10/10. Service was amazing and Chef Pia and Pisey did amazing work! They sell cute Japanese plates and cups. I loved it. We bought the famous lonely tree book and children future soap. They support many NGO and communities with high quality goods (counter lady makes bags everyday and sell at the shop). I highly recommend. Thanks a lot team! A touch of Spain in Cambodia. The restaurant is part of a project for the training of young people and people with disabilities. The cozy restaurant is located above the store with many products from social projects. The menu includes both local and Spanish specialties. Let us explain how this came about.
