It's a nice restaurant, the food was great and it came out in good timing. I got a burger and it was very good. My husband loved his surf & turf. Their loaded bake potato is amazing. Very laid back and surprisingly great food in the middle of Damon Texas. Burger was excellent and shrimp basket was aplenty. Will definitely try to route my bike ride to end up at this place...Ice cold beer was very refreshing. The Open Range definitely has great food and customer service. Our server recommended a couple of items to us that we indulged in. The queso is to die for and the burgers are just as good. Try a delicious lava cake while you're inside, too! For lunch rush hour on a day in the middle of the week, we were very surprised they weren't as busy as we expected. They definitely deserve more attention and business. We heavily recommend dining here for your next out-of-the-house meal. Very impressed with the food! Laid back and kid friendly atmosphere. Ordered their special, salmon Marsala and it was delicious. Kids had chicken skewers that were a hit and husband had a red fish ponchartrain. Will definitely be going back soon!

Great food, service, and overall feel of this restaurant. It has a full bar which we ordered a few drinks from after our meal. We had the steak and shrimp skewers, the Range Rinds, the Chicken Diane, and the cajun Trio. All were prepared and seasoned very well. We will definitely be going back and checking this place out. Amazing food! Wonderful staff are so personable & helpful! Our server went thru the specials & favorites to help us order. You will feel right at home! We had the steaks & Chicken Diane. All the food including vegetables were flavored exactly & prepared as requested. Be sure to try the edible orchids. 😁

Food is very good, I have had pork Chop, ribeye steak. Both were fantastic. Burger is not bad. My last two visit the waitress has not written our order down. Both times a few things wrong. No cheese on my burger. Forget bacon and jalapeño peppers on my friends. Last visit they forgot our appetizers . It's not waffle house! Write it down . What an eclectic combo! It's a corn fed cowboy honky tonk with Vietnamese food and a Tiki Hut! All the food was fantastic, service was great, and the bartender was, let's say, very accommodating! Amazing pork chops, order ahead because they do take about 30-45 minutes because of the thickness. I had the ribeye sandwich too before and it is outstanding. one of my favorite restaurants in the area!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came all the way from Lake Conroe to spend the day in my Hometown! Food was amazing! Drinks were on point! Prices are very reasonable! Staff super friendly & welcoming! The restaurant looks great, very homey feel - the bathrooms are super nice (Just missing one of those selfie mirros, 😝!! Lol) I met some really nice locals, shared some stories together out on the patio. Love this place! Definitely coming back!
