first off, other people’s reviews are misleading. (some complain about the food but still give a 4 or 5) the scampi pasta was watery? had a strange taste & smell. pizza: 2/5. atmosphere & service was okay but safe to say the focus on ensuring good food is shifted to aesthetics or how pretty the room should look instead.

Indeed I gave the food 3 stars but it was a weird experience. Ordered a kebab pizza, was blown away of the presentation and initial bites. But it got to soggy and to heavy in the end sadly, thusly end rating is 3 stars

I would say this is one of Västerås top three most beautiful restaurants. The interior is *chef’s kiss* and there is a lot of options of seating both couches, tables and chairs and even lower seating. The ambiance makes the experience enjoyable. The staff is also really friendly. The downside is that the staff does not take your order and serves you the food by the table. You order by the cashier and brings your own food when it’s ready. As far as the food goes, I had the halloumi sallad that was bland and lacked some sort of dressing. My company had the Alfredo pasta and left out all the chicken because it was very rubbery. The dessert display did not look appetising. However I would recommend you to come here, even suitable for bigger groups.

Först och främst var dricksvattnet varken kallt eller uppfriskande, men tack vare isen blev det något bättre. Det var dock irriterande att behöva gå fram till kassan för att beställa och dessutom själv hämta maten. Det gav en känsla av oönskad extra ansträngning trots att det var få kunder.
När maten väl kom, blev jag tyvärr besviken. Kycklingen var överraskande torr och seg, vilket var en stor nackdel. Pommes fritesen var så hårda att jag faktiskt skar mig i halsen när jag svalde dem. Dessutom visade sig pastan vara oljig. Pannkakorna hade torra kanter och smakade halvfabrikat.
Trots dessa matrelaterade besvikelser fanns det några ljusglimtar. Inredningen var elegant och toaletterna var exceptionellt fräscha, vilket var trevligt att se. Dessutom fanns det sköna platser att sitta på, vilket gjorde atmosfären mer behaglig.
Sammanfattningsvis, på grund av matkvaliteten, ger jag The Palm en stjärna. Det finns definitivt utrymme för förbättringar, och jag hoppas att de tar till sig feedback för att höja matupplevelsen i framtiden.

Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Hade det varit kokt skinka istället för fabriks strimlad skinka skulle det bli fler besök. Åker nu hellre än längre sträcka för att få bättre kvalité på skinkan.

Nu har jag varit till The Palm två gånger, första gången åt jag pasta och idag pizza. Mycket nöjd båda gångerna! God mat och väldigt trevlig inredning och stämning i lokalen.
