I'm going to drop a star because sometimes we get amazing service staff, but other times folks put us on hold for a few minutes, someone points out phone off hook, and then says they never ever cut pizza in squares (except for the 10 other times I've ordered from them). I asked individual to double check with staff and was told I know who it is and they don't like to. Well, OK. It's not the first time they've just put me on hold and forgotten about the phone either. Delicious new york style pizza that is arguably the best food in Nevada City. Place is very popular so make sure to call on advance. Pepperoni and Sausage toppings were really good and staff was friendly. I don’t know if it’s because I went on a busy night but usually their pizza is good …tonight I waited an hour. All I ordered was an extra cheese pizza , It was just a plain cheese pizza super thin and it was so soggy. It was just super droopy and disgusting. I won’t be going back for a long time. I watched them almost miss the box when they tried to slide the pizza in the box and the cashier fixed it with her dirty hands instead of using a pizza spatula ! she was just taking orders dealing with money and credit cards the phone the cash register … I’m sure her hands were clean !?
