Our server was wonderful. She was very patient and very helpful. The food was good, they cooked the steak exactly as ordered. The inside is a random mix of garage sale junk on the walls and hanging from the ceiling, not something you would expect from a place with 50$ meals. Was it worth trying? Yes. Worth going again? We have seen the sign saying they offered a Sunday Brunch many times and decided to finally give it a try. Based on our experience today, we will definitely be returning for it or one of the other specials they offer on other days. The parking is free and convenient with handicap accessible spots. Upon entering, you will find a beautiful, well-appointed establishment with a mix of old and new fixtures and decorations. We were there during the holiday season, so it was very nicely decorated. There are 2 distinct areas one is a bar area and since it was a Sunday there was a Bloody Mary bar and the other is a beautiful more serine area that has regular tables and booths with curtains you may close for privacy and a light to indicate when you need service. I will say this if you are seated in one area and think the other might be a better fit for you, don't hesitate to ask them to move you as they are happy to do so. We were lucky enough to have Alia for our server. I say this because she was outstanding. We at no point were in want of anything. The owner, Jimmy Vitale, was very friendly and right there checking in and making sure everyone was having a positive experience. The Stone Eagle offers a Sunday Brunch with unlimited Champagne or Mimosas, which were fantastic and kept full the whole time we were there. Some of us ordered off the Sunday Brunch menu, and one ordered off the extensive full menu. Every dish we ordered was thoroughly enjoyed as they were unique, well made, and served hot and very fresh. It is not often you find a well made Eggs Benedict, and theirs was outstanding with the eggs cooked perfectly, and everything was hot. The omelet was well made with 3 eggs and 4 ingredients of your choosing. The Cali Breakfast Crepes were a unique blend of very good ingredients that were well put together. All 3 of those meals were on the Sunday Brunch menu and served with fresh fruit, Lyonnaise Potatoes, and a fantastic little pastry that is made in-house, baked, and served fresh. The fourth person at the table ordered off the full menu. Their entrée was Devils on Horseback. This is herb marinated shrimp wrapped in bacon served atop mixed rice and a delicious bourbon glaze. Several of us ordered and enjoyed the soups offered that day. At the end of the meal, a tray of desserts was brought to the table to see the sweets you may choose from. We had the Crème brûlée and the Beignets were both fantastic so much so we would even return just for them. I can't say enough what a fantastic experience we had at the Stone Eagle. We were very impressed with the service, the ambiance, the quality, and the price point, which is much better than a lot of establishments of their quality. The owner, Jim Vitale, came around to each table and asked how everyone’s evening was going, if anyone needed anything, etc… When he learned we were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary, he insisted on making a few off menu items for us to make it extra special. Our server, Nick, was funny, personable, and very attentive. It seemed all the staff were really enjoying their work. We had a great experience here. We had the pork nachos, which was a meal in itself and very delicious. Then we had dessert, the white chocolate cake and a chocolate cake, both delicious. My husband had a snowflake drink that he loved. We would definitely like to return and have an entree. The owner came over and visited several times, our waitress, as well as other staff were all very friendly and engaging. Nice atmosphere. We like to eat at local places rather than chains when we travel and we were not disappointed. Thank you for a fun evening! Had a great dinner with some colleagues. Our service was great, Food was very good, my only suggestion would be to trim the steaks better, and only use center cut for the strip loin steak.
