We ordered an appetizer of pretzels, a child's chicken strip, and 2 pizzas. The child's chicken strips arrived within about five minutes after we placed our order. The pretzels arrived approximately thirty five minutes after we placed the order for them. Our server advised us our pizzas were also on the way, as they were just coming out of the oven when she dropped off the pretzels. We didn't get our pizza's for another 20 minutes. The crust of the large pizza was burnt and unedible. The whole pizza looked terrible. As for the gluten free pizza we ordered, I have never tasted one so bland and cheap, even from a box. Fortunately since opening, their service has improved slightly. The food has gone completely downhill. Sad because this could be a very good, fun environment to eat at provided the food was edible. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Amazing atmosphere, food, drinks, and service. Both Jojo and Tina were wonderful. Being able to watch sports and the pizza oven at the same time was a big plus too. Deluxe pizza and apricot cider were on point. Food was good, we went late and during a holiday weekend. Waitress was nice. The parking needed a voucher to pay but we happened to park on the street, I just happened to catch a note about it on the menu. I ordered the tacos and they were good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Wow, just wow. I am a Canadian from Calgary Alberta on an awesome road trip to San Francisco. I googled a place to eat close to my hotel near the beach and The Taphouse came up. Awesome atmosphere with great music, very welcoming staff from the point where I was sat down, to the waitress who instantly knew my needs for good beer, to the awesome chef who took the time to ask me about me and my trip. Can’t stress enough if you have the time to stop by for a great meal and experience. Looking forward to my next stop here. Thanks guys!! Great view! Staff was very dog friendly! We brought our Rottweiler with us. Fish and chips meal was excellent. Light, crispy and flakey fish. Fries were good as well. Several craft beer options wife had a Collab between Russian River and Ninkasi called Smitty's Surprise which she enjoyed. The food was really good. We assumed it might not be after we were seated. The place doesn't look like it would have really good food but it does. The Cesar salad, wings, and parmesean fried were good. The Brussels were amazing. The soda was a little flat and prices a bit higher than they should be. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Fish tacos were amazing, fish and chips was pretty good. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating and dogs welcome. Drinks were good and reasonably priced but the food was perhaps a bit over priced for what we got, but I would return to try another item on the menu, it all sounded good! Food was fresh hot and yummy. The seafood stew hit the spot on a cold winter day. Too hot wings fresh and spicy. Great service. Tina att he bar was knowledgeable on her local craft beers.
