This was our first visit to the Tattooed Moose since they moved to this location. Our party of 8 was seated immediately but had to wait 10-15 minutes before a server came over to tell us he would be with us in a minute. He took our drink orders and we asked for some water. He brought a pitcher of water but no cups. We had to get up and go find some ourselves. It took another 10-15 minutes before he took our order. It would have been understandable had it been busy but he was walking around chatting with the hostess and other waitresses and on his phone so obviously his priority was not the customers. He told us the bar was backed up but we got up and went and ordered drinks at the bar before we got the order he took and immediately got them. When our food finally came out it was hot and for the most part decent. One of the burgers only had one patty versus two which it was supposed to have. The grilled cheese had one slice of cheese and an overcooked piece of pork belly. The falafel wrap was very good. The fries were also delicious. We asked for the check as we were finishing up eating and this is the only time the waiter moved faster than a snail as he started clearing off plates that some of us were finishing up. Some of our party who have been to this location commented that this was the worst experience they had ever had. An off night is understandable but the service was absolutely terrible and would keep me from going back. Had dinner with my friends and 2 baby twins since it is kid-friendly. To be fair, lots of kids are in the great restaurant. The good part is food. It is tasty and interesting. Duck fries are highly recommended. Tried a falafel sandwich — has 3 big falafel balls. I wish falafel would be wrapped more tightly inside the pita because it was messy to eat it. Unfortunately, you cannot choose fries or any other normal side for free to the sandwich. But the blueberry Black Widow cider I got there the second time is to die for!!! If you like sweet tasty cider, get it. They played live music at 5-6pm there. The vibe is cool. Easy parking . So bill for 2 with a tip is $60. 3.5 Stars on the food We went because we heard the great call of the famous duck club. We ate the duck club. It was... very tasty, but we would not call it famous. It's very heavy and fatty (obviously) and the addition of raw onion and a pickled green tomato on the side (which we recommend you add to the sandwich) counterbalances the fattiness with some nice acidity, which it needs. Believe it or not, this bomb comes with a side of pork rinds! Now, we will say, those may be the BEST pork rinds we have ever had. A drink of fall punch was juicy and sour and a nice contrast to the sandwich. Our bellies felt a little like they got hit by a truck for a couple days after. Definitely decadent. Bar service was very friendly, and atmosphere is low key and cool. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

As we approached, we noticed a laid-back atmosphere, with inside and outside seating... the vibes were great. We ordered our food and beer and damn, talk about delicious! We recommend eating here! This place was on our list to revisit. We hadn't been this newer location, but the Duck confit brought us back. We had it years ago at the old location... and again today. The duck club from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives was good! The real star was the duck fat fries with garlic and blue cheese!! The service wasn't great...it definitely a dive, but they have outdoor seating and live music. Worth the visit. Had a great time at the Tattooed Moose while visiting my daughter in Charleston. The burgers were good and the beer was cold. Wasn’t a big fan of the chili but the atmosphere was great. Fortunately, it wasn’t too hot to be outside listening to a band while we drank and ate. Their beer list is repeatable and they get big points for serving Allagash beer(brewed in Portland, Maine) Would definitely come back. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I stopped here on our way back home from Hilton Head SC. We enjoy stopping at places that were featured in Diner's, Drive ins, and Dives (triple D). The food was good and we got it pretty fast after ordering. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere of the place was awesome and very lively. You can write or draw on just about any part of the establishment you want, from the tables, chairs, walls, etc, shoot I would imagine the staff would let you write or draw on them if you asked. Wish we had more time to spend there as it seems like a great place to connect with folks and just have a fantastic time eating and drinking. Next time we're in the Charleston area I'm sure we'll visit again. Most definitely a great place to go with a group of friends. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I’ll start with the service while we were there was great our server was very good. And the other cool thing is that you can write or draw on any surface was great for the kids. That’s the end of the good. One their wings are market price ok most for wings at market price is like $7 a pound, no wrong we paid $50 for the wings and yes they were huge but they were not good they were fatty and needed to be cooked longer and the only flavor was the sauce. The biscuit on the sandwich was so so dry and the pork belly wasn’t flavorful at all. The burger was also bland and the duck fries are not worth the hype. The gyro was lacking. We were so excited to try this place there is so much hype about it don’t fall for it there are better places to spend your money. Honest review: Food was fast and fresh. We had the duck club, gyro, thanksgiving sandwich, and corn dog. The corn dog was the only thing that wasn’t that great. Restaurant is pretty cool, you can draw on the walls and tables. Kid friendly before it turns night, and decent parking.
