Has become one of my go to stops when I'm staying in Danville. During warmer months you can sit outside on a beautiful patio, and when it gets colder, inside next to a roaring fireplace in an old fashioned tavern. We usually make it a tradition to stop in for their weekend brunch! It's always an excellent way to start the day.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! The atmosphere reminded me of a ski lodge, especially next to this beautiful fire place. The mimosas were fantastic. I will definitely be returning here for another brunch!
We sat at the bar and has a less than stellar experience. It was a Sunday for brunch and I received a smaller mimosa glass than others around me. A woman behind us ordered a Margarita and received it in a martini glass. Another woman revived the wrong food order, which she informed us of, but was too kind to mention it to the bartender. There was a pile of dirty dishes sitting next to me on the bar most of my time there. There were 4 tables around the bar and only 1 person at the bar with us. The food was ok, but we’ve had better service and food at Old Forge Brewery.

I have visited here twice now, and unfortunately, both experiences were not great, mostly around the food. We were here recently with some friends and family, and I have just not been impressed with the food.
I ordered the Chocolate BBQ Ribs, which really caught my attention on the menu as it's unique and not something I've personally seen on a menu before. It came with parsnips and some sort of mashed potato on the side.
As soon as the ribs came out, I could tell it was going to be..interesting. it seemed like the ribs were prepared, and the BBQ sauce was thrown on there last second as it just looked like it was pasted onto them. They did not taste good, and it was probably the first time in my lifetime that I did not finish ribs as I love them. I had a few bites and was done. Do not recommend it. The other person at our table was in the same boat. The two sides that came with it were very similar, and the parsnips were chewy and almost inedible.
Service was ok and the drink I got was very good (Blueberry Lemonade Mule)! The atmosphere overall is alright too, not much to point out, really.
I hate to leave this review because I really want to like this place, but I will not be returning.

I stayed at the Pine Barn over a 3 month period for work and I hardly ever ventured out for food because the food at their Tavern is incredible! They always have rotating specials and even helped to accommodate some diet restrictions! The staff is so friendly! (special shoutout to Cassie and Jen) you made my time away from more enjoyable. You must try the Peach Cobbler if they have it!
Shout out to Chef Derrick and waitress Jen. My daughter and I enjoyed dinner today at the Pine Barn Inn. The food and service was excellent. I was in seafood heaven with the seafood sampler and the French onion soup was to die for. My daughter ordered the vegetarian ravioli and enjoyed her meal just as much. The atmosphere was beautiful and our waitress Jen was so very helpful, friendly, all smiles and right on top of everything. We couldn't have asked for better food or service. Thank you chef Derrick and waitress Jen for a perfect dining experience.

Fantastic food!! Best spinach dip I’ve ever had in my whole life. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Bar makes a great margarita, and the kitchen puts out nothing but pure goodness. Will definitely return!

I had lunch here with three others. My Aunt got chicken and waffles, which looked OK until I saw the chicken (3 bone in legs)
were overcooked. One I could see was black!! She said it tasted awful, and did not eat much of it! I have never seen Chicken and Waffles served with whole chicken legs! It's usually served with boneless chicken. I told her we will tell the waitress, but she didn't feel comfortable complaining and told me not to! So, now I am complaining!! Get your act together in that kitchen of the Pine Barn Inn, please. Your restaurant is lovely and the covered patio is so nice and comfy, but the food is lacking!!!
