We had a nice evening at “The View “. The waiter was warm and funny- and made us feel welcome. He recommended the grilled fish plate and it was delicious. We are from Denmark and eat fish often so we know good quality. The wine and coffee was also good. The view from the terrace was breathtaking but it was especially the waiter’s welcome that made the good experience❤️ We will recommend this restaurant if you’re in Bled. Well, it lives up to the name alright! 😊 Very friendly service, maybe they learned from former negative reviews!? Of course they’re not cheap with such a view. You know that beforehand. The Hugo was second best of our trip, my home made lemonade was fine, but nothing special, and a bit oversized (0,5 ltr), in my opinion. According to the waiter, the Thai green curry is not very spicy, but it was very spicy. and that Plum cookie was dry, so it was worth sitting in just for the view. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We ate at this restaurant and although the prices are very high, the food wasn’t that good. The chicken was too cooked. The view of the lake is indeed beautiful from there but the food isn’t that great. The waiters gave our food to the wrong table and we had to wait longer for our food. Fish platter was good, but it says it is for two people but it is not enough food for two people. The price is not cheap but not overly expensive. View is beautiful, but you can get that from any other restaurant near the lake. Wine is good by the glass, but white wine not chilled enough.

DO NOT GO THERE. A horrible place. The so called manager that invited us lied when we asked if they have pizza Margherita for kids. The result was they served frozen aufull pizza with added separately two slices of ordinary cheese. The rest of food was moderate. Service - 10 minutes of waiting just to place an order with half empty place, only when I asked if I can place an order. 30 minutes wait to be served the food. Overpriced for tasteless food. Wine was served with a piece of glass inside, waiter not interested, took it away and simply through in the bin, no apology nothing. Would not recommend eating here. Shame as the view overlooking the lake is beautiful… Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
