We had an amazing lunch at The Vintage Whiskey and Cigar Bar today. It was our first time there and we were treated like VIP guests. The cocktails and food were heavenly from the chef Chris. Great place to check out in downtown Gastonia. We will be back again and again! We had the dip trio, the Cuban, and the Claudia sandwich with the Carribean Vacation and Show Your Cards cocktails.

What a fantastic place! I had a surprise birthday party here. Great cigars! Great Cocktails! And I can’t say enough about the food! Ask Chris about some of his awesome creations. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Live music is right on point. I recommend The Vintage Gastonia as a regular spot to visit!

This place has its own vibe, and it's wonderful! There are two separate rooms that present separate moods, yet it's all Vintage Whiskey and Cigar Lounge atmosphere. Live music is provided some nights. Last night, we had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Buff! Sensational! The staff is phenomenal! This is s must try when you are in the town of Gastonia.

It's one of the better cigar bars I've been to. The bartender is really cool! We talked about different drinks to try & he gives a nice pour. The guy who checked us in was nice also & very knowledgeable about cigars. He helped me pick a few sticks. Will definitely be back. There is a non-member fee to get in, I think maybe $10. They also have a live band.

Wow, What a Find! Awesome Place with Great Cigar Selection! Modern Decor with Sexy Lighting Fixtures, Beautiful Art work.. 10/10 for design! Service was A+ she checked on our party every 10 minutes with a smile amd professionalism! Cocktails on point and affordable.. My visit to the cigar lounge was truly exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was immersed in an atmosphere of sophistication and relaxation. The extensive selection of cigars was impressive, and the staff's expertise in helping me choose the right one was invaluable. This is my favorite place in Gastonia to enjoy live music!! This lounge is a haven for cigar enthusiasts, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Nice cocktail and cigar lounge in the middle of downtown Gastonia - great place for after dinner. The Good: nice vibes and great service. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and offered helpful suggestions with the cocktail menu. I also loved that the cigar lounge was separate from the cocktail lounge for those of use who don’t smoke. The Meh: I didn’t love the cocktails. I got the Spiced Bees Knees and I think it was too heavy on the lavender. Tasted a bit like hairspray. Then I got the Blackberry Bourbon Sidecar which was good but I feel like I’ve had similar at many other places. I’d think for a cigar and cocktail lounge, the cocktails would be a bit more inventive, particularly for the membership price. The Bad: Membership comes in different packages but for those of us who aren’t local, the day pass is $10. My friend took us there and said it was $5 after 8pm but apparently that had recently changed. I’m not sure if this is normal for cigar lounges as I don’t frequent them. I did expect an annual membership fee as I know due to NC law, businesses below certain food revenue have to be “private clubs” and therefore charge an annual membership. Which, Whiskgars does but it’s $50. Other places in Charlotte charge $1-$10 annually, which makes sense when you’re dropping $$ for pricey drinks. Maybe this also helps pay the live musicians? That would also make sense. I think I was a bit soured when I went to pay my $10 by card at the door and the machine defaulted to a 20% tip that I initially didn’t catch. When I asked what the additional $2 was for, the hostess said it’s because I didn’t select the “no tip” option. Ugh…ok it’s only $2 but I feel many people will miss this defaulted 20% tip option. I think this is a great spot for locals who want a nice, professional atmosphere and especially for those who are into cigars. For those of us who don’t partake and don’t live local, a $10 day pass may be a bit much when you’re paying for cocktails ranging in price from $12-$16.

What a great spot to chill and hang with friends and family. Everything looks great and those that works there are really friendly. The only issue I have is the front and back are 2 different places, now this is a good and bad thing for me, only because the band that was there sound great, but couldn't hear because we were in the back. So if speakers could be added to the cigar side would be great in my opinion. Everything else is awesome.

What a gorgeous space! From the back area where you can enjoy one (or more - let's be honest) of the many fantastic cigars they have in their well stocked humidor to the beautiful bar area where you can enjoy live music on certain days of the week while experiencing the great selection of whiskies, a masterly curated cocktail menu, and some scrumptious bites from the kitchen. If you haven't been, woof, you are truly missing out!!
