It was our first time here and we really enjoyed our meals! We ordered the specials for the day and it was amazing. The different flavors and textures were really unique and absolutely delicious. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. But, I didn't feel like our hostesses made us feel welcome. They weren't mean, just not very social. But overall, it was a great experience. A great spot for a business lunch or a night out. The seating is intimate and comfortable. The menu has a large selection of dishes. We each got a different dish but all got the Jambalaya rice side which was a big winner! The cajun chicken sandwich, turkey dip and the club sandwich were all delicious! The restaurant was dimmly lit, which added to its calm and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice layout and choice of furniture/decor. Our server, Heather, was great. She got everything right in the order, very friendly, and was very attentive to us. The food tasted great like fresh ingredients were used in the preparation. From the greeting when we first arrived until our exit, the experience was very pleasant. The dinner here was really good! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. We.m went to celebrate a birthday and the menu did not disappoint. The dessert may have been the best part! The apple and ice cream was delicious and may be too much for one person so consider sharing.

We were so excited for a girls night out and dropped in for an early dinner before the lights at Morton Arboretum. There were 7 of us total and we got a booth with an extra seat at the end and we fit perfectly. Very cozy actually! The lights were a little dim but maybe a little too dim because a few people at the end of the booth seemed to be in the dark completely. When we first walked in we were not greeted at all by the hostess they just stood there and looked at us. We told them about a reservation as we came in and everyone had kinda the same experience. The waitress we got was nice and very on top of things, sometimes rushing us in a way but our guess was maybe other people complained she wasn’t available enough so she was over compensating..it was a lot at first but we got used to it so no issue there. For the food: I had the Cajun chicken burger with rice. The burger was huge but very delicious! Had a lot of flavor and I really enjoyed it. 8/10 I also had a pomegranate martini and I enjoyed the drink, just wish the rim was salt instead of sugar. 6/10 My daughter had the balsamic ribeye and she loved it! She said it was juicy and flavorful and she finished it all :) 10/10 My friend ordered a salmon dish and when she got to the center it was really gummy looking and raw. She told the waitress and she just said “our salmon is cooked medium, all of our salmon is - do u want us to cook it more for u?” She took it back and they cooked the same piece of salmon my friend ate and brought it back. 1 - isn’t that unsanitary to continue to cook the same meat where other customers are getting their salmon after she already ate from it? She should’ve gotten a new salmon. 2 - I’ve never heard of a “medium” cook on a salmon. She got her meat back and it was still gummy looking - see the pic I posted. She ate around at the cooked salmon but left this on her plate. Btw at least 3 others got salmon at the table and they were all cooked though. Overall it was a hit or miss with some of the dishes. Don’t think we’ll be back but it was a nice place to try once. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

A Pearling

We had an excellent meal here on NYE. In spite of the fact that it was packed, we had excellent service. We had crabcakes, egg rolls, and the spinach dip as appetizers and all were fantastic. The ribs, salads, and enchiladas as appetizers were very good too. We finished with their brownie and special cheesecake dessert and thought they were exceptional as well. Our server, Becky, was outstanding. Attentive, not cloyingly so. I was impressed that the servers helped each other and made sure the tables had what they needed, as well. Bathrooms were clean, we were able to find parking, and they were prepared for us at our reservation time. It was very loud, to the point where it was difficult to talk (but it was VERY busy). The strawberry margarita was just so-so. The meal was, overall, so excellent that I was texting other friends that we’d need to make plans to share a meal here soon while I was still there. It was so good I forgot to take a picture of the food. I ordered the prime rib with mushroom sauce, honey glaze carrots and broccoli for my sides. I wish I could show you, but I ate all of it. I remember to take a picture of my drink because it looked so cool. I was at a work holiday party at White Chocolate Grill, so I chose the Mint Pony instead of an alcoholic drink. Service was good and it is a nice place. The compliments end there. $36 steak tough as hell and their "White Chocolate Banana" cream pie is a joke. $11 and you get formed Graham cracker crumbs with Bananas, whipped cream and what may be (unknown to me) a creme fresh with white chocolate shavings. Can't wait to come back! We kicked it off with the egg rolls which were crispy and delicious! Some of the best egg rolls I've had at an American restaurant. I also had the cream of mushroom soup that was on feature, no whisky. It came pretty cheesy but I didn't mind a bit. My boyfriend had the tomato gin soup and he loved it. I had the salmon salad which was huge and the salmon was well prepared. We had to try the banana cream pie and the graham cracker crust made the dish! Our server was on it all night, despite it being busy. Dirty plates didn't stay on the table long and our water was always full. Great service. ve always loved this restaurant - it was a favorite place for special occasions and the food was amazing. When I saw them on Uber Eats I was so excited to be able to get it at home. I’m sad to say that the preparation and quality has gone seriously downhill. A few weeks ago, I ordered a steak salad and asked for the steak to be well done and I received it completely raw in the center. I couldn’t eat it - I was so disappointed. And because it was delivered by Uber, I was out a meal and the money. Although Uber did refund me later but that didn’t help that night. Last night I thought I would give them another try hoping the steak experience was just an “off” day and I opened the box and there was my salmon with a nice long dark hair in the box. Couldn’t eat it. I will never order from here again. For the price you pay for food here, I’d expect basic food rules and sanitary practices to be followed. Avoid!
