They actually charge $1.55 LESS for a side order of steak than an entrée? They also refused to mix 2 flavors if tea but other locations do. I'll never go to the one in commerce again. Went in and were greeted instantly. The two servers were very sweet and very quick with the service. The food was great! The steak in the udon noodles was cooked perfectly. The rolls were phenomenal! The food is delicious and the staff are super kind and attentive. I did not catch my server’s name but she had really cool hair and checked on me a few times to make sure everything was satisfactory. The steak teriyaki was delicious, as was the fried rice and sweet carrots. I like that they offer yum yum sauce and sriracha as well. The yum yum sauce is amazing on the rice. Restaurant is clean, and my server as well as the cashier offered me a second soda for take-out as I was leaving. I highly recommend this place for an affordable delicious meal.

Wow, for a small place in the middle of nowhere, they sure can compete with a large city, prominent sushi place! The food is simply superb, both in taste and quality of ingredients. Don't be afraid to try the sushi, it can compete with a good coastal restaurant! No idea how they pull that off. The hibachi meat is tender, delicious, and also really high quality. Finally, people here are very friendly and the food gets served fast. This place is truly a hidden gem!

The food is great! Everything you order on the menu comes in large quantities. Sauces are upon request as not everyone likes sauce on their food. For the price you might as well drive to Greenville and get real sushi and hibachi. The food isn’t horrible but it’s way too expensive for the fast food quality

Got the chicken pho after ordering two appetizers. The chicken was overcooked and dry, even as it was sitting in broth. I picked it out of my pho and asked for a different meat. They said they would have to up charge me for a different meat. I thought this was ridiculous after they ruined the chicken. They brought me more chicken after I asked and it was still a bit overcooked but I held my nose and ate it. All I wanted was something different for soup. This is a typical small town American simulacra of Asian dining/food. Refreshingly, this place doesn't even pretend to be authentic, instead leaning into very americanized versions of Asian foods. Despite the name implying Japanese cuisine, it's a general hodge podge of various Asian look alike dishes. That all being said, the food was decent. It didn't taste Asian in the slightest, but it was satisfying. It's the kind of stuff that a Midwestern mom who does "Asian dinner night" might cook. The portion sizes were enormous, yet the amount of meat given was meager compared to the rice and veg. I could see myself being a loose regular here if I lived in the area, if only for lack of alternatives.
