Really enjoyed the retro atmosphere. Must try out their half boiled kampung eggs and toast. The eggs have a very unique flavour and fresh. Also can try out the economic noodle stall with lots of yong tau fu options. The people in this coffee shop were really friendly and nice too. They always have good laughs with customers. A really comfortable place for breakfast in Raub. Highly recommended. A classic Hainanese breakfast – toasted bread, soft-boiled eggs, and the timeless charm of a traditional coffee shop. A taste of tradition in every bite. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
All About Pahang - Raub Old timers and those who frequented Raub, a town nowadays more popular for its Musang King cultivar than everything else, will know the existence of this kopitiam that has been around for the longest time. Located along the main road of Jalan Tun Razak, you'll see no big signage but instead the main pillar where 东南美 was inscribed. The interior seems to have no changes since Day 1 - the old school wooden frame with mirror on the wall with old school cabinet. Regular customers always sit at the back where they make coffee but most of them will fight for every available table in front especially on weekends. For me, I always drop by in the morning if I happen to be on my way to and fro KL. The lady boss already knows what I want once I am seated down. ◾toast bread - old school toast or steam bread are available. They make one of the best kaya in town and like old school kopitiam, spread the kaya and butter on your own. It'll be perfect if there's charcoal taste to it. ◾half boiled eggs - the colour of the yolk was beautiful as I broke it with spoon. ◾nasi lemak packet - available in limited quantity each day (outsourced), the sambal was a bit spicy but tasted delicious nonetheless. ◾Chee cheong fun - pick your favourite ingredients from the stall in front of the restaurant. ◾curry mee - don't bother ordering unless you're craving for noodle. The noodle stall quality is just so-so. ◾char siew bao - they do have options for bao, loh mai kai and siew Mai. ◾drinks - my teh si was good while the kopi si had the oomph. But in terms of taste, I will still vouch for SYC Hainan Kopitiam nearby. Once you've overcome the parking problem - you'll be very lucky if you can find one nearby - enjoy your morning kopi with the awesome toast and egg while you're there. Tips: park at the back row of the restaurant but remember to put parking ticket. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Recommended dishes Nasi Lemak Bungkus
Searching from google map~ Quite high rated Chinese breakfast shop and come to visit. Reach there 9.30am, quite crowded even only weekdays. Kopi not bad lah, full of village or old shop feel. Toast with Kaya Butter and Half Boil Egg is great. As others comments said its really fresh and the egg yolk is red in color. Didn't saw the curry chee cheong fun stalls as mentioned, just a mee stalls that sell pork noodles, and pan mee (curry laksa only available in weekend). Ordered pork noodles and pan mee. Hmm...just soso only, nothing special. But the staff quite polite lah. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 1–20

Kaya toast, 3 colours tea and half-boiled eggs are popular among locals. Need to exercise patience, especially weekends or public holidays, as the shop is always packed with visitors. The newly added nasi lemak is pretty tasty. Though operated by chinese, there are muslims patrons too. We had lunch at Tong Nam Bee in Raub town. This is a classic kopitiam, complete with the wall-to-wall mirrors. We had kaya toast which came with a big slice of butter, half boiled eggs, coffee which was good and strong, chee cheong fan that was nice and soft and also noodles. If you like the traditional kopitiam vibe of yesteryear, this is the place for you.

The loh mai kai was really good in taste and not greasy. the char siew pau and big pau all have very good texture and fillings. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Very old style of Kopitiam 👍. The egg and bread is good. The hainam tea a bit too nipis but very smooth. Other food such as pork noodle & economy noodle are acceptable
