I stopped here by coincidence and was so impressed that I'll make it a point to visit every time I'm in town. I had one of the best dining experiences of my life here: the food, its presentation, and the service were truly spectacular. (My party and I had just arrived from a fine dining restaurant, and we unanimously agreed that we received significantly better service here.) I don't even know how to describe the food here... Our party of four split about 16 different plates, and we all loved every single morsel.

Cannot recommend this place enough. I was a little skeptical because I'd heard it was expensive and wasn't sure it would be worth it. It is. Trust me, it is.
Even with dietary restrictions, I was able to feast on a multi-course meal. Each dish was truly culinary art, and the blend of flavors an absolute delight to the senses. Service was exceptional. Will absolutely be going back for special occasions.

Loved everything about this eclectic place in Travelers Rest! And grateful for the Golden Hour special ($10 off 5-6 Thursday through Sunday). Love that you can get 2 small plates and an entree or 1 small, 1 entree, 1 dessert. My husband and I shared — 3 small plates, 2 entrees, 1 dessert. Perfect.

We had a wonderful evening, Everything was fresh, they were very flexible with their chef menu. The food was wonderful!
I would recommend the Duck, however because they have a daily menu it might not be available but if you see it, it's worth the pleasure! Sorry for the poor picture it does not do it justice. The other was a cranberry jalapeno hummus which was amazing as well!
The waitress was beyond exceptional and we had a wonderful evening.

This is a gem. Went for Brunch, and I appreciate a restaurant that has a small selection of foods you can select to eat.
You can really tell they put forth effort on their dishes. Beyond the food being amazing, the service was just right.

Let me first say that my family has been to Topsoil a few times now and we’ve always had decent food and excellent customer service. We love supporting local businesses and are glad to have an up-scale restaurant in the downtown TR strip.
On our most recent trip, Hannah provided excellent service. The reason why I’m giving 2 stars for both the Food and Atmosphere are as follows:
1) Food: for $200+ I did not feel like we received enough food to adequately fill us up. We are not big people. Although the food was perfectly seasoned and delectable, the pictures attached might seem like miserly portions to some. It did to us. Moreover, unfortunately one of our meat dishes had some trace blood on it that we didn’t feel comfortable consuming, nor did we want to wait another 30 minutes to get another entrée.
2) Atmosphere: it took approximately 2 hours from the time we sat down for our 5:15 pm reservation to the time we left. That feels long to me. Also, the screened-in patio as advertised is actually covered in plastic sheeting (presumably to make it warmer in winter, but at the unfortunate cost of less airy ventilation). After 3 weeks of COVID we did not want to roll the dice on a non-ventilated “screened” patio. They did have an unscreened and un-plastic wrapped portion to their patio, and did offer us blankets, so, minor win. Unfortunately the one heater that didn’t work was being stored paradoxically in the unscreened patio area, so I’m taking that minor win back actually.
Are we bummed by our recent visit? Yes. Will we be back? Probably for brunch.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars! Everything is so great every time I’ve been. The food is phenomenal, the service is outstanding without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is perfect. Literally no complaints. It’s my husbands go to spot for any date night because we know we will leave overly satisfied. Also hosted a bridal shower on their event porch with the help of Kerstin and it was top notch! She was so helpful from the food menu, to the bar, to the flower vases, and of course the service. Couldn’t be happier with any experience I’ve ever had here.

What a gem of a spot! My girlfriends and I went in today for brunch and upon entering we’re met with the soft sounds of a bluegrass band with a fiddle. It was such a great space and the band was light and sweet to listen to.
I got the wagyu burger and it was absolutely divine. The eggs were outstanding and breakfast sandwich was incredible. Would definitely come to this place again if ever in the area!
