Awful food. The tartar tasted weird, the tagliatelle with truffles had only heavy cream, the gnocchi bolognese had so much flour that it was not recognizable. Come here only for the view and avoid the restaurant. It is just bad. Price per person €30–35 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Really good experience if you are around Gorizia/Nova Gorica, BEST view ever. so if is a good day book a table and ask for the terrace outside with the view. Food was really good, calamari were awesome, Grill Platter x2 was huge and overall very good, the chicken and pork were bit too dry on my taste or they needed some herb butter or something, Cordon Bleu was AMAZING (Lubjanska) . Expect to pay for the awesome view. between 30 - 40 € P/P, service was slow but good, just peak time and only 2 waiters, but , again, once you are on that terrace you should enjoy a good while there looking at the incredible view and sipping wine with no rush.

They are best know for their pancakes! But at night you can watch the stars!

The only thing they have to offer is the view. We visited the restaurant last Sunday afternoon. Although the food arrived quickly, it seemed some of the meat we ordered was not cooked thoroughly, it was tough and fatty and the portions was somewhat small. When it was time to settle the bill, we were informed it was cash till only. We explained we only had British Pounds or card, which frustrated the waiter and he did not seem pleased at all. After paying with British Pounds no change was offered and it seemed they were happy overcharging us for a mediocre food. I must add that we were not informed their payment system was down until after the meal. Poor customer service and the food dissapointing. Would not visit again

The food here is really good. The staff is very friendly and they're pet-friendly too. They even let us go with our dogs into the restaurant once because they weren't serving outside. The ambiance is nice too because they have a real fireplace in the restaurant. If you go here you should definitely try the pancakes, they're the best!

I remember "Kekec" from those old days... Last time we were visiting I was not so satisfied anymore. The beef soup was hardly homemade and the noodles were straight from the store. The steak I ordered medium rare was fairly well done and the pork knuckle that a colleague had did not look fresh from the oven at all... The one thing, that is still worth climbing the hill are the iconic pancakes. They were delicious as always.
