This is such a cute cafe with relaxing ambience. It was quiet and slow in the best way possible. The space looks reclaimed and is well kept. They have a good sized menu with many drink and desert options. Everything we had was tasty! We tried the cheese cake and Grandma pudding in addition to our coffee. We went on a Saturday morning at 11:00, and they wouldn’t let us choose our seat because someone reserved the other tables for 1:00. So people seem to spend a lot of time here, and I can see why. Consider making a reservation maybe. A bit tricky to spot from the outside, but just follow the stairs up.

I love the ambience, I recommend to call and reserve before hand. They have a variety of sweet and tarts to choose everyday (they are different) i recommend the salty one, super good. 2024/1 I really like the vibes here, it's remodeled from an old Japanese building so it keeps the high ceiling and attic that makes the vision more spacious and cozy. The distance between each table is reasonable. Bathroom is also spacious and clean. Staff is super friendly and willing to introduce the menu. When there was a better seat, he even asked us if we'd like to change to the window seats. It makes me feel very welcoming. Coffee and tea were not bad. We almost gave up looking for it, but luckily we finally found the door to the stairs leading up to this treasure! It's very popular so we had to wait a bit to get a table. It's an old building with nice wooden planks and a second floor "balcony" (that I think was closed), lots of different tables, sofas and book shelves around. Our table was at the window overlooking the street, very nice for people watching. We totally understand that some people want to stay all afternoon enjoying this cute little place! One of my favorite cafes to spend time working, reflecting… the 2F loft space is airy + bright, w/ an artsy vintage feel. It does get noisy on weekends, but the staff aren’t as strict about seating arrangements + time as other popular Taipei ☕️ spots. That said, call to reserve seats ahead of time. Really enjoyed the thoughtful touches on decor + drink- + dish-ware. The 角咖啡 is cute (unsweetened black coffee ice cubes served w/ a side of 🥛) but milk to ☕️ ratio is high.

정말 구석에 숨겨진 카페라고 할까요? 입구가 작고 소중해요! 계단으로 올라가야 나오는 2층 카페입니다☺️ 날씨가 더워서 부채질 하며 올라갔더니 바로 에어컨 틀어주시고, 이미 카페에는 손님이 가득했어요! 좀만 늦었으면 웨이팅 해야했을수도 있어요 그리고 시간제한이 있었던걸로 기억합니다. 분위기가 너무 좋고, 고양이 소리도 들리고 영어로 소통도 가능해서 좋았습니다. 커피도 정말 맛있었어요 요즘 타이베이에도 커피 잘하는 집들이 많이 생겨나고 있다고 하는데, 이집도 잘하더라구요 직원분들도 친절하시고 다음에 또 들르고 싶은 곳입니다.

Very nice interior design and arrangement. The owners are very friendly as well! Got adapter and Wi-Fi but the music is kinda loud if you’re considering working there. The matcha is average in my opinion at least not for $150 :/
