I have not gotten to the food yet but I'm going to give benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. I've come to this location before and food was messed up only like once, other times everything was on point. The manager gave me a card to come back with lunch on him. I'm not in the North Charleston area as much so I came down here today wanting to eat a healthy breakfast and was in middle of work so I wanted to swing by quickly I ordered from the app but before I purchased I went inside to check to see if the manager was in there because I did not have the paper card on me. I spoke to another manager there and she said he was not in so no problem I paid for my meal online. It said it was going to be about 15 minutes for the wait. I parked in the curbside and waited until almost 9:00 a.m. mind you at place to order about 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. I only share this because as a business owner myself it's important to only train and improve from here but the manager in the store at the time had my curbside order sitting up on the Shelf while I had to walk inside and watch multiple people walk out with their smoothie and food. I finally went up there to ask if my order was ready to which they grab the order and handed it to me no apology or anything. The young lady on shift with her did come and attempt to make a correction or compensate but this literally was an hour ordeal and caused me to lose out on work and potentially business. I walked back to ask why there was a delay and the young lady manager explained or made up the excuse that she didn't see my car out there but there is a big old Tropical Smoothie van blocking curbside and that's not an excuse you're supposed to come out to the car so I had to come inside. Again I totally understand she seemed overwhelmed with orders and Manning the store but it's all about your customer service and response to the situation that was very lackadaisical and unempathetic. I only say this so hopefully the boss or general manager will make Corrections that don't impact the labor because there are seemingly only two people working in the store and I've seen numerous people go in and out so it's very busy. Now I just hope that my meal is good and I can keep this at least out of three star. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I enjoy this place. Cute lickle interior. Healthyish fast food. Easy online ordering process. Friendly associates. This place is a total win for me. Oh and bangin music (R&B all day!) Amiya Is an outstanding manager… always greets me kindly every time I walk into tropical cafe. She always makes my smoothie and other items correctly. I have never complained and never will because the customer service and the food is amazing. Thank you Amiya and the rest of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe members for always making my day when I order. I would like to start with if you plan on joining the tropical smoothie team I don’t suggest. They are unprofessional and don’t like to pay their employees for their work. For an example my boyfriend went to them about uping his pay because of how much time and effort he puts into his work and the over time he has been doing. They responded with using his personal life against him and not wanting to pay him for his work and even tried cutting back his hours. When he walked out they do not try to solve the problem instead removed him from the team because he just wanted the money and time he is owed. Food: 4 Service: 1

It was my first time ever in a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and my experience was OUTSTANDING! The cashier that helped me Jasmine, Store Manager was so helpful and so cheerful! I ordered here in November….35 dollars worth of food and had it delivered. The food was literally thrown in the box. I called to have the situation rectified and the girl literally just offered a refund. Well she never refunded the money. A credit would’ve sufficed. You didn’t have to lie about refunding the food. Never coming back here.

Excellent service and wonderful staff! They greet you with smiles and a friendly hello. This was my first time eating here and the chicken bacon ranch flatbread was AMAZING! Great job you guys and gals!

I ordered through the app as always and picked up my food and it was in the bag behind the counter and the wrap was open and uncut like they normally are, so I asked to have it made over, well the young man rubbed my wrap shell on his shirt and I was through. You don't rub something someone is going to eat on your clothes. That is disgusting. Needless to say no refund on my wrap and I will never go to that location or the Rivers Avenue location again. Unless training is implamented to bring about better customer service and satisfaction. The West Ashley Location is the best and I pray that they stay that way. Never left that location unhappy with my food or smoothie. I leave Dorchester county to go to that location. Haven't been to the My pleasant location but I will check it out this weekend. I reviewed the Dorchester Road store about a year or so ago and my experience was great, but employee turn over has caused a drop in the quality of service provided.

I usually don’t write reviews but I love tropical smoothie and think this matter can be fixed… my experience was horrible…. I was there for 40 minutes waiting on three smoothies and a couple of wraps. I think the staff needs to be trained and developed. There was no real system in place and this issue seems to be native to this location. Please just train the kids. They had no direction and need guidance is all. Respectfully
