Been there more than a handful of times. Overall, everything is good. There were lots of fancy items on the menu I don't think I would ever order. Other plain breakfast items I'm used to were missing from it. Again, if you like fancy, different dishes, you'll love it. The coffee, I must say was very good and stayed really hot in the pot. The wait staff is friendly, too. The most resent visit my wife had the Wilbur Skillet which she said was very good. I had an omelette. I have to say, I was very disappointed. Not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but Turning Point on Rt 37 is the exception! Warm inviting atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. We will be returning frequently. This is my favorite Turning point location. Such a cozy place. I really wish they stayed open until 4:00 because I'm a late lunch person. The lunches are great, I enjoy the Martha's salad and half sandwich, chicken pesto that's like a lunch/dinner for me. I'm not a pancake person or syrup,I know strange!! The blueberry and lemon pancakes are savory not sweet and not tart with the perfect zest of lemon Yum! The skillets are delish, make sure you're really hungry they're extremely filling. The service is always pleasant. Now after writing this review I can't wait to go back! On it’s 2nd day of opening, Turning Point of T.R.W. keeps the fine tradition of the franchise by the great service, delicious prepared food and having a beautiful atmosphere. We usually venture out to Long Branch, but it was a great find to have one local near Community Medical Center,Toms River. Ask for Christy, our waitress, who provided us with great hospitality and great table service by making sure all our needs for breakfast were taken cared of. Also a plus, lots of parking spaces. Food was just ok. Ordered French toast and it was pretty soggy. Ordered the winter warm hash and did not look much like the picture off the menu. Barely any sausage, pomegranates or goat cheese. OK first time here ordered the combo which is a waffle some salad greens, two eggs and bacon. I asked for that bacon to be well done or extra crispy when it came it was chewy and it was definitely cooked six hours ago and only heated up and they don’t use butter when they fry their eggs I’m 63 years old yesterday and I know what butter taste like it’s disgusting margarine boo hiss on his place but the service was very good. Food is Excellent as always Atmosphere is good Unfortunately the Server brought the food, picked up the plates, and brought the Bill :/ Attitude stunk I consider myself a good Tipper and Tip according to the Quality of service. Prices are a lot higher than other Turning Point locations. Stop abusing the Seniors and put your prices accordingly. Shame on the Owners for that 👎 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
