Layover at DFW and I was hungry. Stopped into Twisted Root and grabbed a Spicy Goat and rings to-go, this to the tune of about $24. Burger had some decent chew and flavor, though I could have used a bit more chipotle sauce IMO. Rings were cooked well. Cobb salad was very fresh and tasty. I have had lots of salad that were not fresh at the airport so this was a pleasant surprise. Fried egg was a good addition. The Burger was great and hearty. I know airport food is sometimes dicey, but Twisted Root is good stuff. I Decided to try the Freshman 15, it's a solid burger and will definitely fill you up after a long day of travel.

Nailed it. I was looking for not McD and not generic chicken. I was looking for some what fast. Bartender was great - personable but not pushy. Beer very cold; burger fast. The burger didn't look that great, but they did real good with it. Great view, dynamic atmosphere. It's worth the time and money. A24 - stop in. For this to be an airport restaurant, I was surprised by how good the food was. And it was made super fast! The Shroom burger with a side of fries was the perfect lunch during my 2hr layover. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I came to eat a burger and I got a delicious burger. Although the burgers may be a little pricey because they are located within the airport but it's a quality burger. They also have an open bar on the side, with the scenic view of the airport. I also loved their interior decorations, I loved reading about the chefs and how their name came to be. Got off long flight and walked in here because I just liked the look at the place. So glad I walked in because the men who work in here, super nice! The could see I was tired and hungry and got me fixed up with some yummy food and quickly. It's a nice place to go to. We ordered burgers at this place. My vegabond burger was really good!! Pattie kept falling apart each bite I took out of it. But other than that it was yummy! I would highly suggest getting a lettuce wrap instead of the bun as it helps keep the pattie together. It's a fun place to hang with everything homemade.... yes even their soft drinks are made from scratch. I had different kinds of pickles for burgers. We didn't realize that they had them in the middle of the sitting area I 5-6 different barrels. If you're a burger person ... please check this place out. It's nice and environment is very friendly!! Floor felt sticky to my shoes and the ketchup mustard bottles kept on the tables were sticky as well. There for I am giving this place 4 stars!!
