Wow! What an awesome find. This is a hidden gem. Located at the equally awesome Canelands Beach club boutique hotel and spa. This restaurant is truly amazing. Great atmosphere, warm, friendly and extremely professional staff greet you as you come in. The view, the view from this restaurant is breathtaking. We came for dinner when the moon was so low over the sea, seemed like you could reach out and touch it. We had an amazing 3 course dinner, their food is really, really good. We also came in for breakfast, again, the views! Their breakfast selection is wide enough to cater for different needs. It is also quite delicious. We really enjoyed it. The coffee is great, I found myself having a second Cappuccino. Even if you aren't staying at Canelands, I'd highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely worth a visit! Place to be to relax and unwind Holliday kind of feeling. Service and flood is great. Parking is a issue but the place has supper service but menu is limited so wish they can expand more varieties for longer stays. I was intrigued by the name, arrived to be welcomed by friendly and attentive staff. But it was the exquisite view that captured my attention! Breathtaking with a beautiful pool and sea view. Even at night this view was so captivating and I wish I had been there during the day to appreciate it even more. Had a beautiful Rose wine called Goats do roam which had rose water and strawberry notes. Had the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection! 😍 Great sized portion, with creamy mash and scrumptious roasted veggies. Staff were friendly and delightful. Service was on the slow side seeing as the kitchen is small and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. I had the lamb chops which were okay apart from not being completely cooked but the veggies were great, my partner had the line fish of the day which was the Kingclip. A few hours later, As I type this I hear my partner ferociously throwing up and retasting the immaculate fish. Avoid if possible.

The waiters were friendly but other that that, we had a horrible experience. To begin with, we booked a table that was not ready when we arrived. Then we ordered kiddies spaghetti Bolognese for our four year old and it was spicy. We sent it back and got the same plate of food with what seemed to be a whole bottle of chutney added. The kingklip we ordered did not taste like kingklip and came with completely the wrong sides. The prawns were dry and over-cooked. Looking at the prices on the menu we expected a hellavu lot more.
