If I could put 0 star I would have. Our first time and the last one. old cinnamon rolls, the lady who served us was not smiling at all. They were OILY and impossible to eat. We took one bite, left, throw them straight after leaving the shop.

THIS IS AN UPDATE: 02/21/2024! Been coming to Uncle Joe's Donuts for many years now. Folks! If you haven't experienced an Uncle Joe's Donut?!! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!! Well, we're only on this earth for borrowed time, so if and when you do get in there and see what I'm talking about, it'll be like you're in heaven, may I say?they are located on San Gabriel Blvd/ El Monte St, in the Barrio San Gabriel aka SG. . They Are one of my best donut places of all time.. They usually have what I'm looking for in a donut, keep in mind, after like 6 or 7, they tend to run low on choice donuts since they close at 10 pm. All the other Mom and Pops places close at 3 or 5 pm. With thee exception of Yum Yum which we're not talking about them. Lol! With either a glass of milk, cocoa, and or coffee. They hit the spot . Love this place. Great service, great food. This is one of the best doughnuts / sandwich places around this area. The breakfast menu items are always fresh and delicious. Good prices, great people. Great place for breakfast, coffee, scratcher, and lottery tix

Such a great mom and pops donut and sandwich shop. They have freshly brewed coffee all the time and they can also make a fresh pot for you too if you want. I always buy sausage sandwich with croissant and it is very tasty and delicious 😋. I also get their raisin and almond bread too , also delicious. They provide great service.

I come here once every few weeks. I'm biased because I grew up in the area and attended schools close to Uncle Joe's. Actually, been to other donut shops. They never compared to Uncle Joe's. It's not as sweet as Krispy Kreme, either. I've tried most of their donuts and sandwiches. My favorites are the buttermilk bars, sugar donuts and the cake donuts. Their donuts are also huge compared to other donut shops. They are cash only. Should probably expect it from places like this though.
