Oh, I love verdant. I am part of a group that meets every Thursday morning and easily spends 4 hours there under the canopy at the very back. The service is really fast and the waiters are very friendly - the coffee and food keep you going for the whole day. We were waiting for hours to be served. When the cocktails arrived at our table the lady proclaimed that she had no idea what she was doing when making it, but the drinks were tasting like it should. We were only planning on being there for 1-1.5 hours but the toasted sandwich and drinks took so long, we were there for at least 3 hours. The place was very quiet, so I don't know whether it is an understaffed issue? Lovely atmosphere and huge variety to choose from on the menu.
