Worst experience at a pizzeria in over two decades of living in Sweden. Dour faced unfriendly service. Flies everywhere. Salad bar uncovered (and quite popular with the flies!). When I tried to pay after ordering they “politely” refused to take payment in advance, but said we must pay after eating. When we finished eating and came to pay they added a hefty surcharge because we had the gall to eat at the restaurant! When I asked why they didn’t tell us in advance about this, the guy at the till he said that he doesn’t have to tell me in advance and I can wash the dishes myself if I want the advertised price for the pizza we ate! I will NEVER set foot in that restaurant again, and advise you to do likewise. Mariestad is not short on pizzerias and there are many friendly servers at those pizzerias also. Oh, and they are cheaper also!

This is a hidden gem if you want a quick snack on a fair price. The place is very clean and the personnel ready to help you to decide. There is a long menu, split in various categories. We tried the one with chicken kebab and French fries. The crust is very thin so the pizza along with the fries is an interesting combination never tried somewhere else! Would chose the same place if visiting Mariestad.

Helt okej pizza inget suveränt. Jag skulle inte komma tillbaka bara om jag skulle vara jätte hungrig. Pizzan var lite utan smak och kyckling rullen som min kompis åt var sådär, stora tomter och gurka som man knappt kunde äta och massa sås och sallad som spred ut sig. Atmosfären kanske inte är så super men det var ganska rent och så. Personalen var snälla. Rekommenderar bara om man är hungrig och behöver nåt på magen ganska snabbt! Fantastiskt mat och har varit i alla år. Nu bor jag inte längre i Mariestad men varje gång jag besöker Mariestad så stannar jag alltid för att äta på Viking Pizzeria, finns ingen Pizzeria som håller samma klass i Mariestad. God sallad, gillades verkligen att man kunde göra 5 egna val att ha i salladen, riktigt god vitlökssås med sting😋. Dotra gav stort plus för att det fanns ismaskin 👌 Trevlig, positiv och artig peronal, trots att jag glömde betala så de fick hämta in mig, pinsamt och inte alls meningen, men fick med.mig en näve dumlekolor och ett stort leende 😊 Stor och fräsch toalett! Passerar jag Mariestad igen, åker jag gärna hit.
