Nice place - I have been told it's one of the fixtures in Saltillo for good, authentic, Mexican food. The food was excellent. We had tacos carne asada and a cheese foundue. I was also impressed by how much I liked their been soup. Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Service was basically non-existent. After we were sat, the hostess didn’t inform us of who would be our server or give us menus. After 5 minutes of waiting, a server comes up and just asks us “you aren’t ready, are you?”. She had just dropped off our menus. Didn’t even ask for our drinks. She walked off, and some time later another server walked up, with a much nicer attitude. Took our order, and slowly started to bring us some things. The other server walked up and wanted to take our order, but we told her we had already ordered with somebody else. I had to constantly ask the server for things because even though he kept walking by us, even locked eyes with me each time, he wouldn’t ask us if we were ok or if we needed anything else. I had also asked the lady for more chips, but she never brought them. Our server made sure to ask if we were going to tip, though. At least the food was good. Was in town on a quick business trip, and so glad this place was open, friendly customer service, amazing food, and great decor. Two of my favorites were the guacamole, and homemade tortillas so delicious =)

Very nice old house converted in restaurant. Good local food and good service. One side of the Cathedral, in front of the State Palace and main square.
