Our breakfast spot every time we stay in Swakopmund. The Menu is super cool. Food is wholesome and yum, great variety of breakfast dishes or brechen on offer. Coffee is great. Service is wonderful. Decor is open, friendly and chill. Love this spot. Definite high recommendation.

Service was top notch!
I had a cheese burger and while it wasn't bad, unfortunately it wasn't great either.
Didn't like the mushroom sauce at all, it was flavourless and watery. Sides were pricey- N$26 for the sauce, N$27 for side of chips, N$12 for ideal milk instead of normal) , and that adds up to quite an expensive meal that didn't live up to expectations. Any case, really really good service.

The Village Cafe in Swakopmund is located in the center of town and a good place to enjoy a light meal or grab a cup of coffee at. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating: the indoor area is cozy, and the outdoor seating is decorated in a colorful village style. A friend recommended that I try the Melkkos (directly translated to Milk Food), a traditional South African sweet dish predominantly made with milk, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. I'm glad I did, because it was delicious! They really did the dish justice as it was sweet and creamy and perfect for a colder day in Swakopmund. Although I only tried the Melkkos, their menu has a nice variety of other dishes as well including some specialty coffees. Initially the service was a bit average, but the manager came over and made the experience better. She was friendly and attentive, and ensured that we had everything we needed. Overall, if you are looking for a café to relax in after exploring what Swakopmund has to offer, I can definitely recommend visiting The Village Café, especially to try the Melkkos.

What a great place!! A friend recommended me to come here for lunch and it was totally worth it! We ended up coming back the next day. Great service and a fun menu with delicious food! Everything we tried was really good. We especially enjoyed the terminator and salmon roll. If you end up in Swakopmund definitely come here!!! Lots of space inside as well as in outside patio.

The outside does not look that inviting, but once you step in, you get blown away by the smiles of the staff and the sitting area outside is so beautiful. I enjoyed every moment
