Went for breakfast, there were 3 of us. Waited about 10 mins before being seated, waitress came to table we ordered coffee and when she brought it back to us we asked for more creamer as there were only a few at table. One coffee cup had pink lipstick on it. Got a new cup but had to ask 3 additional times for more creamer, the eggs were cold and undercooked, my daughter's plate had BBQ sauce or something on the bottom of plate.I was very disappointed, I won't come back, it was $ 65.00 and the food was horrible. A lot of people don’t know this, and I was one of them until I went there. Is that this is the old Village Pie Place restaurant. When it burned down a few years ago they moved across the street and revised the menu and changed the name to Village Tap House and Grill. The food is amazing, I just went there yesterday for breakfast and was surprised to see that the eggs, bacon, and everything was real! You don’t find that in restaurants very often anymore. I’ve also been there for dinner and that to was amazing. The service both times was great and it’s one of my new favorite restaurants to go to. Tried this place last night with my partner deciding to give it a chance. Didn’t mind waiting since it was vday. We got sat & noticed there was one waitress and like 6 booths. After 15 minutes we were finally offered drinks that would take another 30 minutes to be brought out. Ordered appetizers which weren’t brought out until our dinner (50 more minutes later). We watched the waitress tell the booth in front of us that the kitchen lost their order & the couple said it’s been an hour and a half and that they preferred to just leave. Now as for the food, dry & mid. Nachos were literally topped with melted shredded cheese. Everything was questionable, service was terrible, food was overpriced and gross. Staff eating things while serving. All around regrettable. Not even sure how for two people our order was over $100. Management definitely needs to visit the review page.

Had a great lunch, great service and great conversation with folks I just met. One of the things I love about my job is I get to meet all kinds of people from all different backgrounds and beliefs and you only get to meet them if you talk to them, which I do! Had the bourbon glazed steak and while it was a little dryer than I would like, it had very good flavor. Also loved the sides that came with it. I've never eaten my whole plate until today.
